My wife got me 3 bags of Maxim organic cotton balls from the heath food store, surprisingly for less than what Wal-Mart charges for them. They look like little marshmallows because the cotton is rolled on them like hay bales. It's easy to pinch a corner and pull off a circle of cotton wick of the right thickness that just needs to be cut in one spot to be threaded into the coil. Wick's half made when I pull it off.

I found cotton to be too finicky ie it didnt last long enuf for me having to change it every day was a bit much flavour was ok but that was all. The Bamboo I typically get about a week with although the one I have on now I dont think will last too long I decided to try short tails like many talk about IMO short tails suck the hind tit have to squonk often and I therefor get more dry hits
