I have been through a few AVP's as well as some ego's and a couple spinners. I resisted the Provape Provari , honestly because of the cost. I not to insult anyone but I didn't really buy all the hype. I figured Provari just had that "faboy" base. Well I ended up buying a KDS - Kmax from fasttech. I thought it was a pretty decent mod, especially for the price until it fell over from a stand position to flat while it was sitting on my desk. It wasn't dropped , it just fell over and broke in half. To speed this up we'll make a long story short, I purchased the Provari solely because it is an american company and american made, fasttech and their horrible service convinced me to stay away from low quality Chinese products to save a buck. I have to say that the Provari is everything that people say it is. Whole new vaping experience. I feel that I need to apologized to everyone for my pre-notion and labeling people as "fanboys". The provari is not hype it really delivers and it really is worth its price in value. :)

I just got the satin silver one. I plan on having it for some time, figured it would hide and little scratches on it better. Figured if I ever wanted to flare it up I could go with the wraps.

Mine are silver too. I like the fact they are bare metal. I have thought about having them bead blasted but mine are scratch free so I will wait until I have a mark on them.

We Provari owners have said this forever, yet many are not willing to listen to reason. Many say that no device could be worth that much money, it's "just a battery holder". They believe owners are only rationalizing to justify the cost.

I often say you have to hold one, use one, and own one to fully understand the true value of a Provari.

Grats on your Provari. :toast: Now, you understand.

I do understand the appeal of a provari. None of them provaris. I have about 10 mods now but i kind of hope provari comes out with something new soon. I will likely get the v3 or the provari but i will not spend that kind of money on such an old mod when you would assume something new MUST be coming out soon. I sure hope so.

I'd take a Provari in a heartbeat if someone would buy it for me, I just don't have that much cash at one time :( I'm thinkin' on it all the time though, gears are turnin'......and yes I know about saving money and all that but you don't know my situation so let's not say that and think that's all there is to it. We're not just talking about the cost of a Provari cuz' we then have to get the worthy charger and good/great batteries, something worthy to go on top with which to vape from, and then a back-up to all that....I know the drill.....Happy Vaping to those with Provari's and to those without :vapor:

Waaaaaaait a minute! I take great pride in being a.disillusioned, rose-colored-glasses, under-experienced.&.under-informed "fanboy". Are you saying.that's all out the window now?

I, for one, am tremendously disappointed! ;-)

Enjoy your Provari!

Now the frustrating part comes. You might start cringing at posts saying the Provari is not that good.

    Heh nice

Was anyone else surprised at the size of the Prov when they got it? Im never good at judging the size of mods online, I always think they're bigger than they are(well, not now, Ive learned), and when I got the Prov, I was like, "..., did they send me the mini??" Wasn't dissapointment, more confusion.

Ironically, things have changed, I now prefer small mods, and often wish I got the mini in the first place.

Apparently you didn't read the The Sacred Text of Manual

    Ritual of Arrival

    Chapter One, Verse Two

    Be aware:

The Holiest of Holies does not come in a fancy box, it is simply swaddled in bubble wrap. It is the way of the ProVarinati to be reminded of our humble beginnings and not to take for granted the amazing gift that is bestowed upon the worthy. You will also find our Blessed One to be smaller than you imagined and be filled with awe that such power could be contained in a bijou receptacle.

Welcome to the club !! When I first started reading your post, I thought you had stolen one of my old posts.... you sound so familiar to me. I even argued why it was no better than my SVD....... Im still tasting that ole "foot in mouth" after taste..... ( I have two now) ;)

I also am a convert. I also own two. I am plotting the purchase of the third once I get through my RBA/RDA phase.

Ironic, but my RBA investigation will prove far more costly than my ProVari collection. So I see the ProVari as a supreme value.
