A "just the facts m'aam" history; Canadian (vancouver), pack to pack n a half a day of extra lights for 25 years. Tried everything but never came close to quitting. Saw a cheap ecig in 7-11. Seemed like an idea that had wheels but same price as smoking (as usual). Googled "ecig hack" to find a way around the high carto cost. Found ecf forum. Did some lurking. Decided I wanted a 510-T kit. Wanted it that day so googled again and found supplier at a flea market. Drove there, paid double for the kit to be able to have it that day and kit included nic liquid. Went out to car put it together, took ONE PUFF and sat there stunned for several minutes because I knew I had just quit analogs forever. The following morning was the first in 10 years that I did not wake and have my usual coughing fit. This all took place 2 weeks ago and I'm already watering down my 24mg nic liquid by 20% with no withdrawal sensations at all. I haven't had the slightest urge to touch an analog...nothing...zero craving. The only issue I've had so far is at the 7 day mark, the smaller auto batt seemed to spontaneously change for no apparent reason from it's 5 second cutoff down to 3 1/2 to 4 secs., the shorter cutoff barely gives the needed throat hit. All in all though my 510-T kit is nothing short of miraculous to me. I loooooooooooove it :0

I have a lil wishlist that in spite of all my meandering, hasnt produced any results. Perhaps someone might know if items on my wishlist exist or not. I'm a tradesman and am often working with both hands so I completely adore my auto batts. The only issue I have with them is runtime. The 340 mah autobatt is pretty good. It gets me through a work day if I start with a full charge but barely, so I'm always carrying the other batt and charger with me which is a wee bit of a pain, so, first item on wishlist: Is there an auto batt for 510-T with more than 340 mah and if not, is there a kit with a bigger auto batt that retains at least SOME degree of the 510-T portability? I don't care if it's a fat battery as long as it's not too long but I am really attached to the auto function. Second item on wishlist: Is there a more ergonomic tank for the 510-T with a flat or oval mouthpiece? The stock round tank usually leaves me with drool coming out of my mouth like I just slipped and cracked my head on the cement. I also took the advice of many members and ordered an ego-c kit to have a backup at all times just in case. If my wishlist doesnt exist I will prolly end up using the ego at home and the 510-T at work but I know I'm not gonna be real fond of the manual batts. (you'd understand if you saw how I used to smoke analogs)

P.S. As of today, I have gotten my 510-T for free in analog savings. Feels like I won the $300/month for life stopsmokin lottery :)

CONGRATS PttP !!!!

I have almost the same story.... 3 months ago was walking thru a mall.... saw an ecig... Took 2 drags and looked at my wife and said " Im a non smoker ! Awesome !

I know what you mean about the auto batt. I was feeling the same thing as I used to work outdoors with my Black and Mild dangling from my lips / Teeth. I started with the same thing you did and had no interest in a manual batt.... but low and behold !!

Once I started hitting on an 1100 mah Riva ( 1000 mah Ego, same diff ) GAME OVER.. I havent touched my auto since. The plumes of vapor and suddenly realizing " wholly crap, this juice is AWESOME ! " and now I'm aching for a vari Volt to really dial it in.

That said... I'm not sure about the higher mah auto batt. Im sure someone will pop in here and help if it exists.

Welcome to ECF & congratulations! First of all, I'm thinking once you've spent a bit of time with your manual eGo battery you *may* form a different opinion of them - although they still may not be as practical for you at work. They do give you much greater control over your vaping experience once you get used to 'em.

If the 510-T uses a standard 510 drip tip (I do not know this as I've never actually seen one) I believe somebody offers "whistle-tips" you could use to replace the drip tips. Hopefully somebody familiar with these rigs will show up in a minute or two & cover this for you. Also, I'm thinking *somebody* makes a fat batt 510 auto; I'm sure somebody made a fat batt auto & if I'm wrong about the threading there are adapters available for 2 - 4 bucks. Let me ck on that & I'll get right back to ya.

Meantime, Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Okay, I have returned with a bit of info, preceded by a disclaimer: I don't know the first thing about the product I'm about to link here, except is has an automatic switch and does not have a 510 threading (boo, hiss!). It *may* be of interest to you but I strongly suggest getting much more information from more knowledgeable, experienced members here before purchasing it. Oh, and I'd also check around & be sure I could find an adapter to use more standard 510 cartos on these batts as well.

That covered, here ya go: The Echo Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit - $40.46

Blessings from my cave, best of luck, & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

You're welcome... but again, it does *not* have a 510 connection as does an eGo (or most everything else these days) so cartos, etc. made to fit it directly might be limited or rather pricey. Or not - I just don't know, but to be on the safe side if I were seriously studying it I'd want an adapter so I could use 510 gear on the batteries. But that's just me :D
