I'm kinda saddened .... I just can't do it anymore.
Not even 3Ω Boge at 6v.

Mother firkin fracken HH-357 has changed my thinking.

It also caused me to break out the 15 Cisco attys I had stashed a way and give them a go again.

Whoa, if I vape them just like the HH they work fantastic as well. Not the same awesome draw as the HH but pretty darn good performance. I've been rocking a Cisco 1.5Ω 510 for about 8 days now and its holding up nicely.

I keep trying to put cartos on some of my REOs but I wind up pulling them back off after just a couple of hours (or minutes even) :)

I find it hard to believe that I used attys exclusively for about 6 months and still never mastered the dam things.
I like to think I'm a pretty smart guy that can figure out anything.
It was the lack of blind squonk skills holding me back.

I didn't start blind squonking until I started with cartos on the REO.
Even then I still visually squonked my attys.

Once the HH got here I had to use the blind squonk on them (and a light touch one as well)

Since I've been using a few Cisco 510s I've found the blind squonk is the only way to go with them as well.

I always new I kept attys too wet, but I had trouble with cisco 1.5s burning on me.

So the things I've learned from the HH that also helped with other attys are:

1) blind squonk ..... and don't over do it.
2) quicker harder hits work better than long and slow with any atty.
3) never ever let an atty dry out. I used to clean my Cisco and let them dry for days. No more, if I'm not going to use it I still put 6 drops of pg/vg blend in there and cap them with carto condoms.

I'm pretty happy that I have so many Cisco atttys here that won't go to waste now :D

Right now 6 REO mods with no cartos in use !!

I just cant blind squonk with the HH357. I get no feedback at all with prressure or gurgle. On top of that as the juice in the bottle goes down the amount of blind squonk changes which complicates it even more. I find the regular squonk works better for me. I've only used one HH 357 though. I have another coming which should be at the post office today. The past few days I've had to use cartos while I wait for the HH357 and its been a bit of a bummer but better than nothing.

Previously I was a Cisco 306 1,5 vaper. I still like those attys.

Still using cartos here but only when Im on the go and working. Tried taking my HH357's to work for a couple of days went and put my grande in my pocket hopped up in my Semi and looked down to find the tube to my extremely exspensive atty laying in my lap and the rest still sitting atop my Grande I was able to pack it all back in there and it still works fine (maybe even a little better draw now) but it was nerve rackin so mine now stay at home with my high dollar trippy tips attached to them. I get no feedback on the blind squonk either but I'm getting pretty good at it only 1 flood in the last couple days

LOL the same thing happened to me.I was in love with 1.7 ohm cartos bought a frackin hh357......no more cartos :(

That's EXACTLY what happened to me, too. I have a stash of 1.7 ohm Resurrectors sitting in a drawer. Once I got my first HH 357, no more cartos. I've tried a couple of times and it's just not the same.

Welcome to the Dark side!!!!!! mwah ha ha ha. Seriously though I've never been a carto fan so I can understand where your coming from. Ive always been an atty fan and with the REO they just work. And yes technique is everything. Glad you found your way back to them...

I can not give up the cartos just yet, I have so many of them it would be an utter waste to just let them sit. I am finding I am liking the 306 even more so now that I can use a good drip tip with it and the Reo feeds them very well.....

1. I'm an HH .357 convert
2. Whatever works for you is the right thing to use
3. Vape on

Agreed, no more cartos here. And the blind squonk is for sure the way to go. There is hardly any feedback though and consequently leads to flooding some times. Fortunately, I find that I can vape through the floods with a minimal amount of spitting, and the more I use it the better I get at it.
Cartos are saved for the DS Keyring when I go out for the night and ned to stealth vape.

I agree about the no feedback when blind squonking a HH atty.

I just give a tiny shot and try it. If I didn't get any I repeat ..... much better to go small and re-do than it is to go big and flood it.

Most of the time I think I didn't get anything but when I hit it I find its all juiced up again :D

The thing that really saves it for me is the "dry hit" taste on an HH-357 is much much much better than any other atty. And they come right back to awesome after you juice up.

Sometime with a Cisco and a dry hit the taste sticks around for another 10 hits. :(

I know nothing about using attys. What is a blind squonk? I just ordered like 40 boge 3.0 cartos so I don't run out (currently I'm out and impatiently waiting). I love the taste but the longevity has been a little lacking. I never tried an atty because I honestly can't stand the thought of having to drip so I've been using the boges in tanks, but man I waste juice when my cartos die on me.

Blind squonking is feeding the atty or carto more juice by pressing the bottle and drawing on the atty/carto without firing it. It's a technique used to feed attys and cartos without visual cues. It requires a bottom feeder mod that doesn't need to be inverted to juice feed.

HA! It took me awhile to learn how to squonk. But, once I got it has been great.

I've actually been having such good luck with the Cisco 1.5Ω 510s that I'm going to stock some more just for backup.

Gotta get a few more HH-357 atomizers for the stock pile too. I have bad luck when it comes to something I love being discontinued. I fear that Hanna will say screw it this job blows one day and we will all be out of luck.

I'm half tempted to see if I can find the info that was posted once and try my hand at building my own.
I would call it the BH-44Mag :D

It's great to hear that you got atties working for you now. Use them 99% of the time on my REO's. Which caused me to have quite a collection of cartos that sit unused. Ultimately had to get some carto tanks so that they won't go to waste.

Anyways, Cisco atties are my favorite and it's really hard to beat their performance and durability.

Just stocked up on these as well. got around the purchase limit by getting some shorties and some long barrels at between 2 and 2.5 ohms. Glad I did it but got sticker shock when I viewed my shopping cart at checkout!
