its possible to freeze e-liquids to prolong its shelf life?

one can freeze e-liquids i was told..will it effect the nature of the juice?..defrosting and re-freezing will that also alter the content?..has anyone done that?..recently i purchased 1/2 Kg(500ml) of 48mg menthol..this will last me @ least 2 yrs..was told PG/VG has about 2 yrs shelf life..so by freezing i hope can prolong my usage and last until i use all up..as i will cut my 48mg menthol,twice using VG base ..so i vape >18mg strength menthol..in theory 3 x 500ml= 1500ml..will take me 750 days @ 2 ml if just 1 flavor i use..as i hope to acquire tobacco flavors 500ml size & do the same..freeze and defrost to use as & when i need it..any thoughts or answers greatly appreciate regarding my predicament..thanks in advance..regards mafig ps i only like menthol & tobacco e-liquids
