ok got tired of dealing with tanks, and buying new heads for them. Soo I broke down and got myself a Igo-L rda. Had my local B&M help me with building my 1st coil, got her rocking at 2.2 ohms at 11watts, blowing huge clouds, and heaps of yummy flavor. Have swore off tanks forever :)
anybody want to buy a Protank 3 plus a bunch of extra heads LOL

Awesome - congrats.

My first dripper was an Igo-L as well - still use it daily. My wrap slightly different from yours but what works is what matters and many variations still work great.

28 gauge kanthal/11 wraps/5/64th drill bit = 1.5 ohms and I vape at 8 watts.

Once a dripper always a dripper - welcome to the club.

I am with you about tanks - tanks/smanks.

The tank I am currently using is kayfun lite (RTA) - so far it is good but not perfect.

Does have its moments - just can't help itself and I have to it take apart clean re-wick/burn coil - does leak a little sometimes - Hey it is a tank in disguise.

Lol I'm enjoying my Igo-L plus wire and wick is super cheap. Now I can try all my juices and get a different taste for them. Since a tank tends to mute the flavors a bit :)

not the kayfun i get better flavor than any of my drippers! I dont even drip any more unless i want to sub ohm. it wicks it perfect there is always just the right amount of juice on the wick. never to much or not enough! if you like a lot of vapor and airflow just drill out the air hole How To Drill The Air Hole On a Kayfun!!! - YouTube

This is the next thing for ya! Kayfuns are drippers with tanks on them, No more dripping!

However, I still find it nice to subohm with my drippers and plume some clouds every once and a while.

Like many others, I started with an Igo-L as well. I've tried gennies, Kayfun clones (which I've had issues with), and drippers are still my favorite delivery device. To me they're just hassle free, the only thing you really have to watch out for is over-dripping (which isn't a huge deal). But yeah, clearomizers can't hold a candle to the flavor of a good RBA

I just bought some things in the classifieds, and one of them is a nimbus clone rda. Will I need to get a mod to use this, or can it be done on a spinner? Forgive me, I'm a noob @ this.

As long as it has a 510 connection it will work (which the spinner should have). It might look a little wonky but it should definitely work.

Hmmm...I have a dripper but just can't get into it much...I use it, but it's messy, and I don't like having to stop vaping to add juice all the time. It's just too inconvenient for me.

Getting a PIF Kayfun here soon, and really looking forward to giving that a shot!

PIF? Lol, You'll be very happy with your kayfun, Just get a syringe with a blunt tip needle to fill it instead of going the top fill method which I never got used to/liked at all.

As far as the dripper, your wicking is what holds the juice so if you have a good wick setup it should last you a while before you have to redrip. That also depends on the coil/s you have in there vaping all the juice away. The way I wick my coils, at .45 dual coils I get at least ten puffs at 12mg. I can take some burly hits to and it still lasts me.
