I've Finally Made My Decision - Thanks!

In about a year I will have been smoking analogs for 30 years. They're killing me but I didn't think I could stop. It's NOT the nicotine because I've used every NRT that came out and drug Chantix. None got me past the 3-month quit mark even though by then I was over the nicotine addiction part of quitting.

Then I saw a news item on Yahoo regarding e-cigs and I almost cried. I had to find out more about them. My exhaustive research led me here (where I did even more research) and I can't thank you folks enough.

I've made my selections and purchases and I'll share with you my reasonings behind them.

My device: I went with the Eastmall 801. Their prices seemed fair and I saw more good reviews of their customer service than bad. I've also ordered an extra battery (gets me to 3 total), an extra atomizer, bunches of blank carts and a carrying case. I certainly would have never known I needed these had it not been for reading the forums here.

My juice: Some of you may think I made a mistake but I'm giving Johnson Creek a shot. I liked the idea of their "Welcome to E-Smoking" package which will give me a sampling of their e-liquids and some handy tools (funnel, syringe, tweezers, etc.) As soon as any of the flavors I try seems at least acceptable, I'll order more as quickly as I can since supply/demand seems to be an issue with liquids.

I also like the fact that they are a USA manufacturer. Sure, tainted peanut butter made here will kill you as fast as tainted milk products from China. They may also be an easy target if/when the FDA decides to ban sales but I'm hoping since they've at least made the effort to register and do not market their product as an NRT maybe they'll survive.

So now I eagerly await my shipments...

Thats a really good purchase. I have a feeling you will be very happy with your items.

Since atomizers wear out, the savings is large on those items a bulk order of atomizers can save you from paying shipping charges each order OR having to pay local mark up prices.

If you need more power or find the batteries dont last long enough, try a usb passthrough. It will provide more power and give stronger drags.
If you dont want to be connected to a pc AND still use a usb passthrough, get a usb powerpack like the kingston one talked about in a few other threads. Power pack goes in pocket, its small, and cable runs out and connects to the usb passthrough.

I think you will be very pleased. I had smoked for 30 year's too and ran across a forum talking about the e-cig's. Boy, I could not wait to get mine and it is the best thing I have done in a long time. I have not even had one drag off of a analog sence.

EDIT: Oh wow, I just seen i have been smoke free for 22 day's,wow....671 cigarettes avoided ! cool !

Sounds like good, well informed choices. Let me know what you think about your 801. I am still considering one for the long motorcycle trips. I went mainly with the JC juice for the same reasons you did, and find it quite good (Personally I use the Kona and TC). Best of luck!
