I didn't really know what to say on that "issue". I'm an atheist who hears all the time "I'll pray for you". I usually just leave it alone and say "Thanks". People mean well and they think it is a good thing to say.

I think summer and winter are the best seasons to quit smoking. When it is too cold or hot outside...I prefer to stay indoors. I hope all goes well with your vaping and medical issues. You will probabaly have more energy to heal without smoking.
I'm a vapetheist and don't believe in BT. Lol just kidding I know Big Tobacco exisits. Hope all works out for you with the volt. And yes the blu sucks.
Same here as well. I never know how to respond. And when people do not know of my being an atheist it is less of an odd situation but still makes me unsure of what to do or say. I do know they mean well though. I have a harder time when people ask for prayers, when I obviously do not do that. I usually just tell them I will keep them in my thoughts, but I am not sure how that is perceived by them either.
On another note, congrats to the OP on quitting. I am on my third week of no analogs and it just gets easier especially with the perfect liquids! Keep us posted on your biopsy!
No cancer! Thank you Jesus! It popped up on the other side of my gums also. Almost in the exact same position as the other side, so he thinks it's something I am doing or eating or it could be calcium they just don't know. It is right under my baby teeth that I have still on both sides. Yes I have 4 baby teeth still. two on top and two on the bottom. So no cancer. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers I really do appreciate it. I still haven't quit because I am a big chicken and waiting on my Wellbutrin from Canada to make it easier. If only in my mind. LOL
thank god it's not cancer I bet that was scary, I started vaping because of gum issues too. Some people quit smoking right away other people do it slowly even if you just use the volt to cut down on smoking that's a win good luck on your journey
Good to hear that it is not cancer. May I suggest that you go ahead and start vaping. Don't give up the cigs unless you want to. I cut down on smoking by half, easily, with the Volt. I am smoking less and vaping more. It is nice to be able to vape and I do feel better than when I was smoking 2plus PAD.
Yay for the big fat negative on the C word. As far as getting your mindset right, here's what helped me.
Don't think of this as quitting smoking. Your brain will not let you quit without a major fight. Think of it as changing brands. If you smoke marlboros and changed to Winston, your brain doesn't care. It will let you change brands. So just change your brand. Instead of smoking cigarettes for nicotine, you are vaping for nicotine. Good luck sweety.
Edit: I still have baby teeth, too. It's what makes me special.

I don't smoke while I drive now. That is one big step for me. I vape and enjoy having a nicer smelling car.
