I think it was a dud anyway, always had problems. Had it 3yrs., so I got my use or uselessness out of it.

Provape was of no help, always chalked it up to user error. They put their fingers in their ears & chant la la la, if you insinuate it may be their product.

So, I don't want to replace.

What I would like is some advice on something smaller, or at least slimmer & lighter, that will handle vg. I do thin the vg, I'm vaping it now on an ego with a Cisco atty. (Wish I could buy them elsewhere.)

I do like a big cloud & was able to produce it on the Provari on several occasions.

It may turn up, but, other than the fact that it was so difficult to work with, I still want another back up. Ego's are ok, but...ya' know.

Thank you!

If you're not looking to spend a ton of money you could always look into clones. They aren't necessarily lightweight in comparison to your experience with a prover but they are quality made mods for great prices. if you aren't a fan of clones the vision spinner 2 (although comparable to an ego) is a very nice battery with long life in between charges. the taste vv 3 is also a very good battery

It really depends on what you want to spend and whether you are partial to vv/vw regulated devices. However I'll have to suggest what I always suggest: REO. It's compact, durable & pocket friendly. Also you don't have to take a bottle around with you since it's a bottom feeder & has it's own bottle inside it. It will work great with your cisco atty, any bottom feeder RDA &/or cartos.

Maybe it ran away for being unappreciated for 3 years :glare:

Seriously, if I lost my Provari I'd be just a tad bit upset by it, or rather extremely frustrated because it is my primary vape device. Had mine a year now without a single hitch so far.

Also I've heard nothing but great things about Provape's customer service.

I have to wonder why you don't seem the least bit upset about your loss. Don't want to replace it either. Tell me, what sort of problems did it have and why suddenly would Provape refuse to fix their product in your unique "dud" case?

It is disappointing when you spend that type of money and something doesn't work and you can't get support. I looked at both the Provari and REO and ended up with the REO, I couldn't be happier. Small, very solid and a great vape. Some people see it as a minus but there are almost no components that can fail, big bonus.

For high VG juice, the topper is more important then the device. You would have better luck with drippers, rather then tank style toppers. Was the issue with the Provari dry hits? If so, there is no possible way a battery could prevent that, no matter how expensive the device. The only one that I could say is built to prevent dry hits would be the Reo, and I'm a Provari fan. The Reo could handle thicker juices because the Reo is specifically a dripping kind of device. You use bottom fed drippers, and keep juice on board in a plastic bottle to squeeze up to the atomizer when needed. This may suit your needs better.

They make so manny different mods for under $100.00 that I can't bring my self to spend so much on a mod .
I have an SVD that's 11 months old and going strong , a no name mod that's great too and a mech mod that works great as well
Still using my egos too lol
Do you sub ohm ? Do you use high volts?
They all seam to work well and the same till you start using high volts or sub ohm .
Best wishes

I would absolutely go nuts if I lost my Provari. It is my most used and loved device. If your device wasnt working properly the I'd say you probably bought it used and it had some heavy use behind it. Provape would have helped had you been under warranty, which is why I would think its used and out of warranty. If you bought it new then warranty would have been used. They stand behind their products, but if you bought it used that's another story. It's like buying a used Mustang and it being out of warranty yet you expect Ford to do something. They'd laugh! You have to be under warranty. I don't understand because Provape still would fix a device even out of warranty but they'd charge you for it.

I've bought both new ProVaris as well as a used one. All work flawlessly. Not even 1 single issue. I will be buying more because I love their quality and customer service. I've heard nothing but good reviews, except yours. Out of hundreds you may get 1 who is unhappy.

If you are totally against Provari, which I can't see why if you bought a used device and expected Provape to jump through hoops, then the Joytech Evic is descent. I have it and its good but no where near the quality or build like the Provari is. It does have more features on it. Even a puff counter. I use mine at times. It's fun to play with the different buttons. Also it connects to your PC and you can download your Vape history and even adjust your settings through the computer. All that jazz but I still love my Provari better. It's sturdy and lasts, except for your case. :vapor:

Whole opening post just sounds off.
Top of the line mod, best warranty around and a ton of supporters that might have had answers, but no?

Assumes you need a Mod capable of vaping Vg? I always thought the topper did or didn't work well with thicker liquids.

If you are at all real - you need a very conductive Mechanical Mod, A sony VTC 5 18650 Battery a High Quality Dual coil Dripper and someone that knows how to use things to teach you.

I feel sorry for the Provari :( and understand if it ran away:laugh:

You lost your Provari!? Isn't lojack one of the amazingly awesome features on the Provari?

Did you try contacting the Provarinati Task Force? :glare: ...

I kid, only because you do not seem very broken up over this loss, otherwise I would be completely sympathetic to your situation.

If you don't mind spending the money, there is the Semovar which is slightly slimmer than the Provari at 22mm, and I think its more attractive as well. :)

Good god if I lost one of my beloved provari I would be so distraught and beside myself! I love mine so such I have 3 and the Provape 1! And even missing 1 would kill me.....if yours was messing up then I would have to say user error because Provape would fix out of warranty for minimal cost! But since you don't care then go look on fast techs web site and find yourself a mrch and a dripper to handle the higher vg juices you seem to love! I need to give my provarii some lovin!
