Hi,
first post here. I first ordered a Green Smoke kit. I've been using it for two days.
Wish I had researched some more before making that decision, but anyway.
I quickly realized that all that recharging would drive me up the wall, so I ordered
the Super eGo B model. I wondered if anyone owned one and what you think of it?
I have not had an analog smoke in two days. Yesterday was not bad at all, but
today I'm Jones'ing a bit. It's odd because I finally finished one of the Green Smoke
cartridges and had ordered some 30mg juice. I refilled the Green Smoke cartridge which
was 18mg with the 30. It seems like I'm having a rougher second day even with the 30mg.
Do e-cigs generally not deliver as much nicotine as analog smokes?
I'm hanging in there though. I don't miss the ashes or stink from the analogs.

That's the new eGo tank model. I have an eGo-T and I didn't much care for it though I love the eGo battery. Others love them and they'll be on here in a minute telling you how wrong I am. You're pretty much on the bleeding edge with that one though.

Not as much depends though on 30mg juice, you should be getting enough. vaping certainly doesn't deliver it as fast.

You may not want to do this but, I'm not the only one that has. Go ahead and have a few cigarettes a day for a few weeks. In between use your PV all you want. Find your nic level and learn to hit your PV. You take long slow hits. Not quite the same as a cigarette. After a few weeks, you'll find you really aren't enjoying those cigarettes as much. Then it's time to put them down.

The way e-cig deliver nic is different from analogs. In analogs they added a chemical that makes the nicotine go to your brain super quick. Also when you vape whatever nic level, you not getting 100% of that nic. But you are vaping 30 mg and its not enuff? Damn I just did 20 mg for like 15 mins straight cuz I was trying to fix my atty and now I close to getting too much nic in me. Started to feel sick so I had to stop. I never heard of Ego B.

That's pretty much what I did. I didn't really get the pv with the intentions of quitting. I hoped I would but I tried quitting smoking in the past and couldn't. I thought it would help me cut down. When I started I had a couple cigs. Or if I craved one I'd have a drag or two and put it out. This really only lasted a few days. As time went on I really liked them less and less until I finally just liked vaping better.

Hi Jeff,
Congrats on making a start and welcome. I don't have a Super eGo B so I can't speak to that but as far as delivering nic I think the general consensus is that vapor does not transfer it as efficiently as smoke. (tars and other things play a role) There are adjustments that can be made, such as the one you've made to higher nic levels. I started on 18mg and managed to kick a pad habit with that but I was definitely vaping a lot more that I had been smoking. My advice is to drink plenty of fluids and vape your fool head off. lol. Your body will tell you if you're getting to much nic. I'm sure others will kick in with some good advise probably better than mine but I'm of the opinion to do what ever it takes to get off the cigs. Again, Congrats and welcome. :vapor:

I didn't have much luck with e cigs satisfying my cravings until I started adding VG to the mix. I mixed it 50% with 36MG PG ejuice for an 18MG strength ejuice. I also switched over to using cartos at the time, which were a lower resistance than the regular 510 atties I was using. Once I did that I was getting my nic fix, and I haven't needed a regular cig since :) The VG and the low resistance atties make a lot of vapor. I am convinced that the extra vapor helps get more of the nicotine in my blood stream. Either that or with the added vapor I feel more mass as I vape... but I really think it helps with getting the nicotine.

Wow, this forum is certainly responsive. Thanks for the info Mickey. I don't think the Super eGo is the same thing as the eGo-T. Somewhere below someone mentioned the amount of juice it will hold. The model B holds 2.5 ml. I think the model A holds about 1.75ml.

Hi Animeguy,
I finally calmed down some after stepping up the vaping quite a bit. I'm no longer jones'ing like I was, thank goodness. I actually didn't make a hard and fast rule with myself that I could not have a cigarette. I just thought if it didn't get too annoying, I'd try to stay with vaping. But, yes; I smoked Newport Kings like a chimney, so it's not surprising to me that I'm having some issues. I understand what you're saying though about too much nic. The very first vapor hit I tried was apparently a bad cartomizer. I didn't know what I was doing, so I just sucked harder and menthol fluid went into my mouth. I then got pretty sick for about fifteen minutes. Sad that that was my first vaping experience.

No it's not the same thing as an eGo-T. It's a similar concept but other than the fact it's bigger, I don't know what the differences are. Those things are so new, cignot just got them the day before yesterday. Like I said, you're an early adopter on the bleeding edge.

Thanks JD,
I can't wait to get my eGo next week. I'm already tired of recharging these GreenSmoke batteries. I think this unit would be good for a very casual smoker, but not a hard-core smoker like me.

I knew that the eGo's had a good rep. I happened to stumble across the Super eGo and figured
more is better....whether or not that ends up being true.

I'm not quite that up on the custom mixing and atomizers yet. I was curious about that though.
I figured I'd ask those questions in a separate thread. I'm interesting in what you're saying though because
I'm having a hard time getting enough vapor. In fact, I've had to switch the way I take a drag. I used to
draw smoke into my mouth, then into my lungs sort of as a two-stage operation. Now I just suck straight in.
I wonder if that's unusual?

Vaping is such an interesting hobby. It can get frustrating when attys act up. You will get the hand of it soon enough. Then you'll see all the mods that are out there. endless. Vg creates more vapor. DIY is not that hard as long as you use calculator and be careful with the high nic juice. Try a LR atty, 1.5 - 1.8 510 or a 306 with drip tips and you'll open up a new world. Direct drip is awesome. Avid Vaper lr510 is the bomb even tho my juice screws up the atty.

Well...The eGo's rep is more for the battery. It's such a relief not changing batteries all the time. The eGo-T gets more mixed reviews. A lot of people love them but, others not so much. I'm in the not so much category. Love the eGo batteries though. The eGo super B will probably be the same. I hope you love it.

I thought I'd use it for awhile before updating.
I like the tank a lot better than the super ego, but I can't
say I like the whole ego experience other than the batteries.
I find that the atomizers get funky tasting very quickly. I also realized
that as a newbie, my favorite juice "Turkish Tobacco" is what was killing
the atty's so quickly. I'm not sure if it's because it's too thick or what.
But, it tastes fantastic in a clean atty, then it turns them all burnt tasting
within no more than a day. It's really sad. I've had better luck with other juice,
but my main complaint with the tank is that it starts to get bitter and slightly
burnt tasting very quickly ... no more than two days for me. So then I have the
choice of throwing out the atty or disassembling the thing and going through
that whole cleaning regiment. I've only done that a few times so far, but it's
just not what I'd hoped for.
I noted someone else had posted a place to buy the wick material, so I ordered
some of that. It seems the wick gets as funky as the burner.
So, here's the big question and I think I already know the answer...
Is there no ecig out there that I can run for a full day without filling up
or recharging, puts out large amount of vapor (so far ego t-tank does all that),
and that will stay tasting good for weeks without having
to mess with or replace the atomizer?
I'd even be happy if the manufacturer would make an atomizer
that was designed to be easily cleaned or that had cheap
replacement parts like that wick/pin assembly. I realize they
want you to toss your atomizer and buy more, but joye should be selling
those pin assemblies complete with wicks for maybe twenty-five
to at most fifty cents a piece. And, it should be easier to install.
Yes, I do want the world. :)

I'm on my 7th day with my new type B, on the second day I had to raise the wick height to keep it from flooding. 2 days later I had to raise the wick again. I might be expecting more out of the type B than it can produce but the wick adjustment may not need done as long as I blow out the atty once a day. It's not perfect and aside from the wick being made up of thicker strands and the tank being bigger it is not as maintenance-free as I had hoped. I might switch to mega cartos before the first atty cleaning is due.
