So I just pre-ordered the IPV3 and I am a little too excited for this box. Not sure if it will be the end all mod for me or not. Now I got to figure out a RBA to take advantage of the ample power...

I have a kayfun and I love it, but I am not sure it is the right product for this mod.

I have discovered that the sub-ohm stuff is to harsh for my taste, but using the Vamo with the Kayfun, I have discovered that a higher resistance coil coupled with a higher wattage setting, well, it produces a really thick and nice vape that agrees with me.

So here is a major question that has resulted from a previous post in the new members area...

Is there a RBA with a tank that has multiple coils?

I have figured out that the high wattage mods are only going to give me the vapes I like with more surface area, and with 150 watts available, I need to make up some surface area...

While I have not done dripping, I am fairly certain that it will not work for me. But maybe I just have to try it???

Thanks for any advice you got...

You can't get more than 15 Watts out of a Vamo.

It's all about airflow and wicking..to use the IPV3 at maximum power, I'd have airholes around 1/8"...IPV2 won't even get the origen, that's drilled out that much, warm.

I recommend the origen, taj ji, and magma for deeper wells, but they also perform the best out of the other drippers I have.

I like the tugboat. Screw AFC..my drill does the best job.. but you may want that...plume veil, origen/storm, clt, and a couple others offer great airflow control.

You can do whatever you want with this mod.. since it can buck the voltage down from 8-1 Volts..you have a wide range.

The best multi coil tank is the Gus estia... it's pricey, but 1-3 coils, with screws to block off each air outlet. The fogger is ok.. especially for the price..I haven't used an orchid yet, but look into those. There are also dual coil kayfuns..but the estia is so worth it. I'm going to get a matching tank for my kiss qe, and I'm going to use the kiss tank in this picture on a 510estia on whatever multiple battery mod I settle with...

So that is the taj ji, on the IPV2 with a custom wrap... imagine that estia on the IPV2... I'm considering a dark knight/3d lord engraved tank for it also..sexy, sexy yah?

The Gus Estia is a bit on the pricey side.
Are either of the two you have pictured multiple coil types?
I seriously do not think I will use the IPV3 to its max, but I figured since I was looking to buy the IPV2 around ninety bucks, another thirty and I have the latest... I got a couple weeks at least to mull it over.

Imo, dripping is what these high powered mods are all about , that's why you rarely ever see any other type of topper on them in pics. Everyone has their preferences and until you sample both extremes you never really know .

I found out that after trying a multitude of toppers with various builds using higher wattage and lower wattage settings i greatly prefer the vape quality of builds in the 1 ohm - 1.8 ohm range and pushing no more than 20 watts. Kayfun's are perfect in that range as well .

I hate overly warm vapes , to me it really kills the taste of my juice , it sounds like you do like the much warmer vapes so the iPV III sounds like a good choice.' Have fun with it

Even if you don't ever go above 20 Watts.. you're still using the extra battery capacity of the IPV3.;)

The taj ji- dripper about 1mL capacity, dual or quad.(edit- check out my taj ji thread)..it, the origen, and magma are the only drippers I'd ever need for "dry" mods.. don't have a bottom feeder, but if I did, I would choose a plume veil, omega, or.. can't think of others at the moment.

The tank pictured is the Gus estia polished with kiss tank...single, dual, or triple..worth every penny. It's hard to see an atomizer with an engraved tank being worth ~$200... but look at an authentic kayfun 3.1 or Russian, rose, ithika, and other tanks... all single coil tanks.. Gus will have your back with your purchases. I've caused nothing but headaches for them, but they still give me customer service that tops any other vendor/manufacturer I've dealt with.. especially in this industry.(No, I don't have a provari...so I guess I'm clueless on customer service:))

After using one, I wish all the money I wasted on half-way functioning clones went to an estia.. I'd probably have at least 4 of them.. but I wouldn't be versed in the multitude of bs I've had.:)

You definitely need to try it! It takes practice and patients but the rewards are well worth it. There are many RDA's that you can buy for under $30 that absolutely rock like the Infinite CLT or a Plume Veil clone. Both of these have a dual center post design which makes them a lot easier to build. You don't have to build complicated quad coils to get the results that you're looking for either, just use thicker gauge Kanthal. There are a couple of RDA's that have a tank that I'm aware of. On Ebay, you can buy The Big Dripper RDTA clone for around $35 and it'll hold up to 5ml of e liquid. There's also the EHpro Pontus V 1.5 (not a clone) for $42.99 at VaporDNA. I don't know much about the Pontus but the authentic "Big Dripper" has gotten rave reviews. My best advice is to get yourself a few different inexpensive RDA's and dive right in!
