I don't use J-tanks, but I do use IBTanked cartotanks. Does that qualify? Do you have questions about cartotanks in general? If so, perhaps myself or others can give some assistance.

I personally love cartotanks. I have a dozen IBTanked which I use on a few different mods on a daily basis.

What's that sticking out from the bottom?

The cartomizer is just pushed part way out so that juice can flow past the bottom of the carto (threaded end) into the tank.

I always fill my tank from the bottom of the tank. The top edge of the carto is sharp, and can "shave" the o-ring if you fill from the top.

I've been using the J-tank fillamajig tool to allow me to fill all the way to the top as well as eliminating scraping from the top end of the carto. It seems to work well so far. I've also been having issued with the polyfill at the top not staying wet - but from searching through the forums I guess this is not so much of an issue? Sometimes I still get a burnt taste and will try to eliminate that by dripping liquid into the top of the carto.

You should give it done dry pulls, hit it w /o pressing the fire button, this will help keep your carto well saturated, when it gets in your mouth, and when you stop seeing bubbles come up that means your on the flooded side as opposed to the dry hit side, I always give some e dry pulls, and or extra pulling after releasing the button to help keep carto saturated, this comes into play more with thicker juice all tho it is not as big of a deal as people will lead you to believe.

I always pull my carto tanks up, opposite from pic above, haven't had any problems with Orings, just keep them juicy.

    Keep your 510 connector clean.
