Would anyone who has the J118 give a review....and if possible compare it to the 510 and the DSE901.

Also please compare all the different aspects of the ecigs not just throat hit and vapor. How is the taste, battery life, do you drip or use the cartridge, atomizer life, consistency of the hits...etc Since the the J118 uses mic switch batteries...are the batteries overly sensitive and can you drip with them without killing them off?

Thanks

BTW...just to clear things up.... many people are calling the J118 the new 2009 901s.....this is false since the part are not interchangeable at all.

I started with a basic DSE109(Silver), Then I got a M104, I just recieved the J118 (Litecig VX2) from Litecigusa.com...all I can say is wow! It is superior to both other models so far. The DSE109 doesnt hold a candle to this awsome Ecig, The vapor it produces is stupendous, the draw is great and the flavor is really nice and mild. I also have to mention the Carts for it...they are much easier to fill as they come apart and the little cup that holds the wool and liquid is clear so you can see it when its full. much cleaner not messy like the others. I chose the Inferno Red..I must say its also a thing of beauty, Kind of reminds me of a custom paint job on an expensive car. I got the Litecig VX2 Vaporizer with PCC case, I absolutly love it. The M401 would have to be my second choice but the Carts dont last very long and you can over fill to easy. Word of warning though..you cant drip with the J118 as you will burn the battery up. I read lots about that already, who needs to drip anyway when you have carts that are so easy to fill and last a long time. also it is very sensitive if you give it a blow on the end it will light up. Im not sure about battery life yet but the whole unit seems much better made so Im hoping that goes for the battery to.

After you get this pretty little thing your gonna want to throw away the DSE109..Believe me! give it a nice funeral, bury it and call it a day.

Pros and cons this one is way better so far!

    Some already done:
    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...s/19827-j118-aka-vx2-l88b-initial-review.html

    consistency: 510
vapor: 510 but the J118 on a good day/hit can get closer
battery life: edge to J118, but for heavy vaping (near constant), perhaps 30 mins difference at most
drip vs carts: carts only (refilled/restuffed, etc, with same fluids for comparison)

The taste, will do some comparisons on again tonight, with same liquids, as I'm not recalling anything 'special' there.

No dead attys yet for either, but have been mostly on the 510, due to inconsistency of the J118. I have a new battery and atty coming for the J118, just in case somehow 3 new attys and two batteries for the J118 wasn't 'enough.'

The J118 batteries are *quite* sensitive - hang in mouth, exhale *very* slightly (not blowing into it), it lights up. drop from an inch onto desk, it will light up.

I like the J118 PCC, though, and 510 atties will go onto the J118 battery, and the J118 cart/mouthpiece will go onto the 510 atty. So literally same cart or atty on the 'others' parts = 510 wins, hands down, unless all 3 J118 attys I have are garbage. If I did *not* have the 510, I'd probably like the J118 a lot more, although it's draw is very much on the light side.

Well I use to have a J118, so can do a comparison,

J118 had much better battery life
    J118 was cooler looking

J118 had a much easier draw almost like drawing air at times compared to my 5110

Cartridge was a bit bigger but not a lot, but it turns out to be about same in terms of cart life in the end

Flavors and taste IMO was worst then my 510, in fact I hardly taste anything on my J118

Throat hit was virtually non existent on my J118

Vapor was superb on my J118 but 510 with manual battery still beat it

You can drip on the 510, but could not on the J118 or will burn out the batteries.

510 batteries with the manual rocks, but the atty can get really hot, while J118 hardly get hot

I used the J118 for 3 days straight.

It is possible that I had just a bummed atty because some people were saying how great it was.

I really wanted to like the J118 but I have since moved on

But I bet my 510 atomizer you are using manual batteries with your 510 right? :D

The J118 batteries I've used are somewhat sensitive but really not much different from the other automatic batteries I've used with other units. Automatic batteries are what they are. That's why most people eventually come around to using manual batteries....and manual batteries for the J118 will soon be available for purchase.

But with that said, if you already have a 510 I honestly can't say you will get more bang for your buck with a J118, other than battery life. But if a person absolutely wants an automatic battery I would recommend the J118 over a 510 any day. The automatic batteries for 510s are complete junk.
