Once I put my magnet back in I could never get it back out either. But I made sure I had the polarity correct. She's in trouble now.

You/she can also write to JAV and see about sending it in to them to fix. That's not a cheap or quick fix, but it might be worth the time, money, and trouble.

For those who have mag probs, please take Bronze's advice and use a screwdriver so that in placement, the polarity is correct.

I"m just thankful mine is fine..

see these are old people problems. she sent them an email. but i don't think she'll spend more money on it to mail back to them if it's going to cost her out of pocket. And you know... it's my fault cuz i recommended the Jac to her urgghh... i thought the older people got the more patient they got.

I'm hopeful you'll find a solution for her, LK. The mags are strong, but one can get them out with some patience and determination. I did on mine, as I had put them back in with the wrong polarity, too!

The Jax remain GREAT mods. Every device has their foibles.

Love her anyway though... But yes, she is a well-set in her ways lady, I don't argue with her about much anymore.

Anna, yep.... Just got off the phone with my mother and the reason for my reply. Like wine, she is getting better with age (And Wiser)... At 5', I have those type of discussions just to watch her get up on her soap box so she can state her case... Then I stand up, look her in the eye and give her a big hug and kiss. She's my mom.

Which Jacs are you considering?

Both have the same dna 75 chip and run off a single 18650 battery. The difference is in size and finish. I can vouch for the older black model but haven't touched the new one yet.
