Not good.Still doing the same thing. I also noticed if I jiggle the fire button without pressing it then the display goes off also.

ResultI got an email response from Jac and evidently it is a known problem that they have seen before and are going to repair it for free.
I hope they're covering the postage, too.I got an email response from Jac and evidently it is a known problem that they have seen before and are going to repair it for free.

Their customer support is excellent I had the same issue. The ribbon is long on the display ribbon cable and gets pinched in the fire button if it wasnt assembled properly. Jac Vapour sent me a replacment device to the US at no cost. Im looking foward to a DNA75C device in the future from them. They included a shipping label.
That works too, Hitt. There was a change of plans on the repair. The shipping label they sent me is not good for shipping from the US so they have offered to send me the screen to replace myself or I can pay to ship to them. I totally understand since I bought the unit second hand even though it was new in the box. I appreciate their help and will do the repair myself.

Its not that hard just make sure you tuck the display ribbon cable away from the fire button. And be very gentle with the small clip that holds the ribbon cable to the board they snap off easy. And dont try to pull the top 510 plate off too far the wires hold it from comming up to high just pry it pull it up enough to get to everything. The guy I'm dealing with was even nice enough to send me a step by step repair guide on replacing the screen.

I'd probably just whine here till someone got sick of it and offered to do the repair for me.
Thanks. After doing mine when the part arrives, I'd probably offer to do it for you.

And then get a mod to post it in the OP for easy reference. That's good service. Say, any chance you can post the instructions in case someone else runs into the problem.
