I ordered a 25 mm fully knowing that I might get-- whatever. I did indeed get a 22 mm but I wasn't much bothered.

But, now that I THINK about it, I PAID for a 25 mm, so like, I think I paid more. I'm fairly certain. I used paypal I'm pretty sure. Maybe I should shoot them an email.

Or shoot them.

I'm counting on the Aegis Solo to not only be 'grippy' but water proof too. My wife has already dropped two mods into the pool. So, I've recently order two Solo's for 'pool' toys. I decided on that instead of another re-furbed 22mm JAC.

They probably would have 'got me' for another if the discount were better just to replace my 'funky finished' one. I was looking at JAC as building a solid reputation like Provape. But they just seem to be inconsistent over the last year or so with their marketing, inventory, and website listings. So I went with the Aegis instead. Got two of them for what 1 refurbed JAC would have cost.

I didn't jump on the bandwagon out the gate, but did get early models. Our 1st two were from Jul '17, then we added two more in Oct '17. I've no idea which one 'peeled' when removing the skin. Our other 3 are Grade 1 and/or Grade 1+ going by JAC's scale. Two out of the four I had to re-glue one of the magnets back into the door.

I wonder if it had/has anything to do with the skin type. Maybe the 'sticky' of the Titanium skin is stickier than others. Just a wild guess.

Might not have been the fault of the skin. This is mine, it peeled just from regular use. When I decided to get rid of the paint I got most of what was left off with my fingernail.

I get the impression that some of the original black had good paint and others didn't. Maybe they changed the painting process or something.

I remember this pick, Mick, and kind of hold my breath every time I opt to put a new wrap on. I keep waiting for it to happen, and it probably will one of these days.

Like I said, we recognized quickly that it might not be the most durable finish, but we thrilled with the mod otherwise (with price being an impacting feature).

All in all, I love the things.

Subject to change, of course. We ARE vapers!

I'll take that as a compliment @Bronze, thank you.
"Three Finger" Brown is a hall of famer from the dead ball era (goes way back to the beginnings of baseball). I wouldn't expect a UKer to know anything about baseball. Suffice it to say he was a great player. And Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown is my all time favorite baseball player's name. :)

BTW, he partially lost two fingers in an accident and thus his nickname. This loss was actually a gain as he had one of the nastiest curveballs ever. Losing those two fingers was the difference.

Anyone know what the coating on the new black 23mm is. I sent jac vapour an email to see if it is the same as the old 22mm but havent heard back from them yet. I hope its not the same as the old 22mm. I have 2 sandstorms. Im thinking about ceri coating one of them black but if the new b series has a decent coating on th hem ill just buy a new black one.
