If anyone cares, I've been buying from Orb for coming up on 6 years, and they're a top notch battery company (IMO). They sell the LGs for $5 per, and I trust them implicitly.

LG HG2 18650 Battery 3000mAh Flat Top INR18650HG2 High Drain 20A 3.7V Rechargeable IMR Brown

I was one of the first to start using their wrapped Panasonics in my Provis (early 2012). I wrote ProVape about it, because they had all those warranty stipulations. They asked which batteries I was using, and when I told them "Orbtronics", they replied:

"You're absolutely fine. They only sell top of the line stuff, and are totally reputable. No worries on warranty coverage."

    IF that's worth anything...

I've used and like Orbtronics also, it's just the other joint sells vape-gear so I seem to use them more...
these are the batteries I like best and use the most (& in this order)
I have no reason to buy any other

RTD is an excellent company, and Randy runs a great ship. I support them when I can too, particularly back in my Early Days of Billet Box (16340 batteries).

You can't go wrong with either company (along with a couple of others).

I avoid the flash sales at the some of the vape shops when batteries are concerned. I'd rather spend a buck (like @Bronze referenced earlier).

Just to add...batteries, above all, is (or should be) the most personal choice of all vape gear. It's a must that we buy a safe battery. And you must have confidence in that battery. If you're wobbly, then don't get it. Stick to the proven name brands like AW, Sony, LG, and Samsung and be sure you are getting the correct specification for your device. And money should not play into the decision. I'm sorry. We spend hundreds of dollars on our gear and the difference in battery prices is infinitesimal by comparison. If a reputable brand name costs a few dollars more than a fly by night brand then don't think twice about it.

Freakin' A to THAT. Our lifeblood, so to speak.

Bronze, I could not agree more! I'm a huge believer in quality first with batts, and RTD has seen kwite a bit of business with me as their customer.

I also VERY much like and trust Orbtronics. And because the Tootsie Rolls have been getting so much use in my non-Provi mods, it was a sweet frosting on the cake to find them on sale at Orbtronics (4.99).

I've never skimped on batteries. I wouldn't even consider them solely based on price. As Zen said, plastic surgery......... mmm hmmm.

I tried temp when it first came out with nickel and didn't care much for it, then again about 6 months ago with ss wire and although it seemed a bit better then nickel, I just couldn't get into it... I just couldn't find one plus compared to what I have been doing. Maybe dripping at really hi wattages can be better, because of it less likely to burn, or in tanks that you cannot see the juice levels. Maybe I'm just to old school for it and stubborn? With my vaping style and devices, I seriously only get a slight dry hit maybe once every few months, if that, as for flavor, I seen no difference in SS compared to kanthal either in tc or wattage mode. I tried the 26 & 28g ss and even tried some claptons a while ago, didn't like them either

Interesting to see all this talk of TC, and how many (me included) don't find it to their liking, or of relatively little importance. I did try it once. It was not a pleasant experience in any way, and put me off trying it again. I'll tootle along happily with my lowish wattage, moderately high mg. liquid, and my happy little Kanthal koils. :)

That's exactly when I bought this, it was my first vv hi end mod, before that I was using mechs. Man I thought it couldn't get any better then this provari and refillable low resistance (although low was like 1.6 or something)cartomizers .

Put one in the cart. How long till they send the 20% coupon?

It took about 3 days last week. They 1st sent a 5% off code. The next day came a 10% off code and the day after 20%. Don't know if they will go higher if you wait longer.
