That's exactly when I bought this, it was my first vv hi end mod, before that I was using mechs. Man I thought it couldn't get any better then this provari and refillable low resistance (although low was like 1.6 or something)cartomizers .

I have (borrowing) your sib. See below.

They outta be wise to this by now. :)

What's your thoughts, opl? I think they know preZACTLY what they're doing. :D

Absent the sounds of my brain ricocheting off the insides of me skull, my JACobite has been totally stealthy to date. Mine was from the pre-order batch and came with a notched battery cover and very little play in it for what that's worth. I think as little as possible these days, if nothing else to stave off my doctor trying to put me on hypertension meds. :w00t:

Dayum, I've missed you, Dashers. Be here more (now), please.

Ooo Ooo! Is this the part where we all post pics of our favorite OG Provari?

Are you married to Puffzzz, Rain? ;)

I did do a little thinking though. vaping happily. :)

Batt cover, snug. Button, press. Happy vapes. :vapor:

Finally got it, mail delivery was really late today. I like this, feels, and looks great. I did have to sign for it.
I like the slanted part above the button, it gives me a place to rest my thumb between hits. Battery cover fits pretty tight, can't feel any movement, The rolled up instruction sheet, uh, yeah, a pain, but I didn't need it. Just set watts, lock the setting, and go. It has a slot on each side to get your thumbnail into to remove cover, I couldn't just pull it off. Not much more I can say after using it for a few minutes now, except I don't see how you can go wrong with this. :)
Maybe there is a setting for how long the screen stays on after releasing the fire button, anybody know? It'll save me from unrolling that damn manual. LOL!

Dayum, I've missed you, Dashers. Be here more (now), please.

I ran off to the greater Boston area for a few days of vacation last week and then had family obligations this weekend...so I've been playing a bit of hooky lately. Never fear though, my insightful and highly informative posts will be back in all their glory shortly. :D

WHAT is THAT?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? (and hows come I don't have one?)

Remember about a year or two ago Mike over at HoH decided to teach himself engraving? For my 5 year Vaporversary I was able to provide him with my first Provari mod for an "Engraving Make Over". He got to practice his new skills and I got a very nice one-off anniversary present. :)

First Genesis was one made and sold by forum member Scubatdan that taught me about mesh wicks etc Then the DID20 which i think have around 4 of with spare parts.
Shoot still have like 12 sheets of 500 mesh 12x12 bought in a coop.

Like the ego mega v1 and love the megav2 with so many stashed for Mrs and i.
Guess am a hoarder when it involves vape stuff.
Embarrassing to name all the stuff stashed unopened with another DNA device on it's way.
Time to clean out your bone box. You wont feel so guilty with new crap on the way. :)

Oh I know the DID was after, it's just the first one I owned. Yes scubadan was the man. I also have a bunch of mesh left, but do from time to time get a build going and vape a good Ole genny

I bought a Genny not long after they came out. Never came across a more finicky atomizer. Got fed up with it and sold it and the mesh I used with it. Hated making those rolled up mesh wicks and torching them. Vaping had come a long way (before Deeming).

The Postman Always Rings ... JAX!

Yes, I got mine just now! Very first thoughts:

  • LOVE the rubber finish, LOVE the gunmetal battery door. I think the contrast is very elegant, and the feel is perfect. :hubba:
  • The button clickiness is totally posh, a pure pleasure.
  • The fire button is very responsive. Like very. If you are accustomed to keeping your thumb (or finger, however you roll) resting on the fire button, well, you *might* not be able to do that without a lot of accidental firing. Do NOT put this in your pocket, or anywhere else it might get pressed up against something (is that a JAC in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me???) without turning off first.
  • In the hand it's slim and light. I see why Katdarling says it's like a tube mod, because that's the hold I'm using -- like my old Provari Minis: little finger under the base, pad of thumb to fire. I can also hold it in my palm (no little finger under the bottom) and use the inside of my thumb to fire, but for me it doesn't feel quite as comfortable. I have to say again how luxurious the rubberized finish feels.
  • Battery door is definitely grippy-grabby! Absolutely zero looseness or play at all on mine. I did need to use my thumbnail to get it off, but can see now how to do it without (in case anyone is worried about their manicure! :p) The door only goes on one way. When you first take it off, look at the bottom and see how the magnet is attached there differently than the top. This is how it goes back on. When replacing the door, attach it at bottom first, then snap in the top. If you do it this way, it's very easy to replace.
  • My KFM 3s feel like they are awkwardly tall on it, and a little top-heavy in weight. I think it definitely looks better with the shorter atties. I decided to go matchy-matchy with my maiden voyage, and used a black Vika Fantasy (similar to Kabuki). The proportions are better to my eye, and I do like the lightness of this atty on the Jac.
  • Vaping experience is perfect. Instantly responsive, smooth, effortless. Perfect.
  • The menu window is very large and clear. I haven't messed with settings since I don't TC, so I can't say much about that, but as far as viewing, it's very easy to see, and comes in my preferred alignment! Also, it's very true that the instructions are rolled up and curly!
Not the best photo by a far shot, but here she is:

jac.jpg

(Sorry, I can't do an in-hand, which would be MUCH more useful to show scale, etc, because I have to shoot it with my iPad.)

In conclusion, I'll say she feels and vapes like

I'm very happy with the purchase, and very happy I didn't have any trouble with customs!

Anybody know the minimum wattage setting on the DNA 75 offhand?

I can set it down to 1.0. JWB, but if there are any other potentially contributing factors I'm not familiar with them.

I'm in wattage mode, if that matters.
