Jacksonville Meet and Greet Sunday Dec. 18, 2:00

Hi All,

The Jacksonville area will be having a Vapers Meet at Bukkets on the beach (222 N Oceanfront, Jacksonville FL Phone 904-246-7701) Sunday Dec. 18th at 2:00. Bring your pv, any mods you would like to show off, and a spouse or friend! If we have an idea of how many are coming we can make sure there is enough seating.

Spontaneously taking off on a 300 mile drive at the last minute is the kind of thing I've done before. Let's see, 2PM EST = 1PM MY Time. Six hours travel = departure around 7AM, or earlier. And, an over nighter. I do enjoy road trips. Hmmmm.

Where we will be meeting @ Bukkets in Jacksonville Beach 222 Ocean Front N. Ocean Front road is being worked on, park in the parking lot of Beachside Swimwear and walk to Ocean Front N and walk right to JamRock and turn that corner (left) towards the beach-Bukkets is in the back!
I stopped in today to personally remind them we would be there. I hope the weather is as nice as it has been today. If you tend to get chilly be sure to bring a light jacket.

Since I have a mod collection problem, is there any one type someone wants to see? I can't bring them all. LOL

YAY! Yes, starts @2. I do hope you get to come and chat for a bit! Bring what ever you want, I am gonna pack what I can in a rolling case-lol. Want to make sure if there is something I may have someone wants to see-I might have it. Which mods do you have-I just might have a request!

I'd be more likely to have to bite my tongue to keep from complaining about Summer weather in December. THIS is my quarter of the year, in this part of the country anyway. Unseasonably warm weather makes me grumpy. Sunday looks nice though, a little cooler with lows in the mid 40s and highs in the mid-upper 60s.

What kind of establishment is this meet up taking place at? Restaurant, Pub, ... or? If I make it, I won't need a rolling case for my mods. I still can't commit to attending. But, getting out of town for a couple days on a road trip has a distinct appeal for me.

Bukkets is more of a pub type of business -- drinks, sandwiches, etc. I too won't need a rolling case and am VERY interested in seeing what other mods people bring. There are some nice places on the beach to stay, St. Augustine is 30 minutes down the road also. Orange Park has a lovely hotel on the St. John's River called The Club Continental that is nice. There is a LOT to explore on this side of the state. If you hit St. Augustine at night now the city is lit for Christmas. Mi Casa in "old town" often has a folk singer that you can enjoy while you sit outside and eat your cuban and drink beer or sangria's
