Janty Ego-1rst 12 hours

Got my new Ego today, & so far the ONLY thing I can say positive is the batteries last a long time & it's cool looking,that's it.

Maybe there are really the wrong type of carts in your box? Because the eGo uses perfectly regular 510 carts and atties, so what you already have should fit it. Have you tried it with one of your know working 510 atties and carts?

All my carts are the same as my 510s. Only issue I have is that they don't seem to seat as well, sooner than my 510s. I attribute this to the higher heat of the unit. No melting of any kind happening with my Ego. Carts fit, just get loose quicker it seems.

I don't know what you were expecting. It's a 510 with longer battery life, looks nice, and fits nice in your hand. The 2 tornado batteries that I got last me all day where as the 510 batteries lasted about an hour(if that sometimes I think). After a week now I wouldn't go back to carrying around 5 or 6 little batteries, having them all die, get a pack of smokes, then going home and trying to rotate/charge them all.

The carts,.. you can just use your old ones. I'm surprised you went through all that instead of just using your old 510 atty/cart. The tornado didn't have this issue but it wouldn't have even bothered me.

i mean, not everybody will be happy with the ego/tornado, but your review is really weird.

Kinda been toying with the idea of getting an Ego but not so sure after reading your review. Maybe it's better if I just stick with my 510 and the XL batts.

Yeah, I think it's really weird too, it's the same as a 510 with better battery life, and if you like its "looks", and fit and feel. The things NB mentioned positive in the OP. If anything it was the sellers mistake on the carts. Where did you get it?, I guess maybe you wanted the 510 carts more then anything.. : )

Wow, I have had my Tornado for a month now and have had no issue like this. It is just a 510 with a bigger batt. I love mine and find it hits a bit harder then my 510 with just a bit harder draw (If the cone is on) But I have had nothing but perfect vape from it. It does sound like the wrong carts the ones that came with mine are 510 and 510 atty’s. Sounds like a packaging screw up. I hope you get it corrected and give it another shot before you write it off; it really is a good PV. And you are correct on one thing, the batt live is greatness!! Good Luck!

Just wondering if you opened up a ticket with Jantyusa and see what the problem was with the carts?
Where did you buy the kit? did you go back where you bought it and let them know about the carts?
I have an eGo too and in MHO, it works very well. The carts I got with mine fit the atty's well and the warranty is better than a lot of others out there. 6 Months for the entire kit, nothing to get upset about.
Please, go back to where you got the kit and let them know about the carts being wrong. Also do try one of the other atty's and carts for the 510 you have. The cone is to keep the heat in and allow the liquid to be warmer than normal. As for the cart melting, did you line it up with th atty?
Go to the Janty sub forum here on ECF and open a thread and let Ethan or Mik know. Might be the wrong carts being shipped with-in the kit and they would really like to know if thats the case here.
