Janty KB passthrough?

In looking around, I found this from Vaporguys. I was a little surprised to see a Janty KB passthrough wire for $25....and a manual switch for $15.

Per Kurt, this has the little battery box on it just like the KB. As much as I say I'm working on getting away from wires, I just couldn't resist!

$40 total for the passthrough and the switch....10% discount if you put in coupon code vaporguys....and $5 shipping ($5 shipping? Wow!)

The order total was $41. Thought I'd share if anyone was interested.

Don't forget you need your own penstyle atomizer and cart.

and just to make sureThey call the penstyle 304 - is it same as 801 or RN4072interchangeable?

They are out of the regular penstyle passthroughs (like they sell on Puresmoker)....but they have the 304 passthrough which is the same as the Janty one. The battery is a 10440. I can post a link to where you can buy extras of these, but I'll have to look for it first.

I didn't see the battery box either but I wrote Kurt and he confirmed it is there. No, the manual switch is not the same as David's. I already have one Janty KB manual passthrough and I freely use any of my penstyle atomizers on it.

These are the batteries and charger I use with my Kissbox USB:

DealExtreme: $12.58 Ultra Fire 10440 14500 Ac Charger

If you keep it plugged in to your computer you don't need the charger but I like to keep it unplugged a lot.

Well, I received my order the 17th when the PO reopened. The passthrough works great!

Then I realized I should have ordered another switch for the other regular KB battery I have. I really, really, really hated to bother Kurt to mail out one little switch....but he said he'd be glad to do it. Used the discount code and he charged me half the shipping and I got it yesterday. And he threw something extra in. What a great guy!

He definitely gets 2 thumbs up from me!

I ordered one of these as a replacement for my regular penstyle usb pass that died this week. I intend to keep it plugged into the computer or my apc power pack most of the time but unplug when not in use.

Will the USB actually charge the battery? What's the purpose of the batter, just to be able to use it not plugged in?

Yes, it will charge the battery and yes, you can use it not plugged in.

I think the battery is to break the direct link from the power supply to your face/device.
