You won't have to ever worry about batteries with either since they use batteries that are commonly used in cameras and flashlights. Plus the batteries cost about $2.50 and last much longer.

I have the Prodigy and use it with the 801 although as mentioned above it can be used with the 901 or 510 atomizers. The Prodigy is a 5 volt device whereas the JS is a 3.7 volt device. You will get more throat hit with the PD in comparison to the JS. Both are well liked and supported. The PD costs a little more but is sturdier than the JS.

I think it is wise on your part to get one of the premiere devices and thus eliminate at least one part of the process, the battery, as a concern going forward.

I've not been disappointed with my Prodigy.

On the Janty Stick the charging cord doubles as a passthrough. Is this the case with the Prodigy? I know that Prodigy makes heavy duty passthroughs for other ecigs but wonder if you have to buy one for the Prodigy itself. That would be an expensive proposition in comparison to the JS.

I don't see the need for it to have a passthrough. The battery life is so long and you should have a spare set charging while vaping that it really should be a non-issue.
