Hello guys, I just received my PCC and after charging it I plugged one of my eGo Jet XL batteries to test if, left it there for 3 hours and after that I plugged it to the usb charger to see if the battery was full, 30 minutes later, still charging via USB.

My question is the following: how long should I charge an XL battery on this PCC?, the manual states that a standart eGo battery is fully charged between two and a half to 3 hours, but does not mentionl the XL battey, and sadly theres no led to indicate when the battery is charged on the PCC as many people already stated, huge flaw there sadly.

On the PCC, you will find a LED indicator. This indicator has several modes to display what its current state is:

1. When in a charging state, the light turns red to indicate that the PCC is charging. All charging of the case itself, happens via the mini USB port.
When the PCC is fully charged, the LED will turn green, and this means that the PCC itself is fully charged, and therefore is able to be used on its own, to charge a separate battery on the go.

Notice, if you remove the external power supply (mini USB) the red LED will turn off, as it is no longer being supplied with enough power to charge.

It takes approximately ten hours to charge the PCC completely.

2. When the voltage of the PCC battery is at or below 3.3v, the LED will turn red (when not connected to the mini USB) – this indicates that the PCC needs to be re-charged. When this happens, the PCC is unable to charge an eGo battery.

3. Charging your Janty eGo battery.
When you insert your battery into the connector, inside the casing, the Janty eGo battery will rapidly flash five times. This indicates that your battery is now being charged.
It takes approximately three hours to fully charge the battery. It is possible to partially charge the battery as you like doing so will not damage the battery.

A 650mAh eGo battery takes around 3 hours to fully charge on the PCC.
A 900mAh XL eGo battery, due to being approx 50% larger in capacity, will take approx 50% longer to fully charge; so will take about 4 and a half hours.

How many times have you used the PCC for its' full charge cycle?
(i.e. from fully charged to when the PCC needs recharging).

Most batteries require to be used for at least two full charge cycles before they reach their max capacity potential (I am referring to the battery in the PCC unit itself).

Just once really, it's brand new.
