Greeting. Been a bit for me on ecig fourm.

Hoping one maybe able to save me some time and be able to point me to the proper 510 replacement for a series B DNA75.
It is giving shorted / check atty. (Tested several attys)
I did just manage to have it come back to life but it's reading the resistence a bit high. Can tell its vaping a little off.

I've dropped it several times on hard surface so it's most certainly my fault. Although it did just die one day without it being injured right then.

Also FYI.
I contacted Jaq vapour "support" when issue occurred ~month ago and was surprised to find Jaq vapour doesn't offer any replacement parts or repair services. That's quite unfortunate cause I really like this mini dna mod. Was planning to get their upcoming 21700 DNA75c version. Now I probably won't be. I do not care to support companies that do not support their customers.

Thanks for your time.

P.S
Zen over at house of hybrids is right.
510 was made for cigalike diameter device...510 needs to die and a new 16-18mm connector standard agreed upon by industry. Have legacy 510 adapters. Then we would have a connector that is sturdy without leverage damage. I could care less about the usual 510 gap atheistic look that is a hot topic / complaint. I just dont want the gap cause its going to break!

I would check the wiring and see if any of it got knocked loose after the repeated drops. Especially the positive and negative wires on the 510.

I never had any issues with the size of the 510 connection. Never had one break or anything. But I don't drop my mods very often at all. Maybe once or twice a year I'll have an accident that ends with a mod on the floor. But seeing as basically everything is using that size connector, it's very unlikely the industry will abandon it and move to a bigger size. Even if it would be better, manufacturers are already heavily invested in the 510 size.

Yes, maybe insulator. I just want to replace and re-soldier the 510 entirely. But without support from vendor to provide the part, repair service, or info of 510 I'm not exactly sure which 510 to buy. Hoping one accustomed to building mods would have some insight as to which 510 connector is appropriate for a Series B.
