My button was doing the same thing. I found by cleaning/polished the tube and threads, plus tightening the delrin insert in the button, it stopped sticking. Works great now.

Yeah I didnt polish it, just the soak I did. Maybe ill try that. And im taking pics now just in case anyone was interested.

I take it back. It's not working great anymore.

Damn thing won't fire unless I press really hard on the button. Oh, and anyone else notice how fast this brass tarnishes?? Less than a day and it's already tarnishing again... nothing else I have that's brass does this. Lame.

I'd make sure inside edge of cap isn't kissing tube. After pin delete a quick 360 rotation of button will tell if tube kissing. With pin keep look for hickies on tube.

My brass tarnishes but also polishes easy.

Here are the pics I took for everyone. As you see the tubes are easy to spot out, the lines in them. I havent polished this yet so sorry for the fingerprints everywhere. But the threads are nice and buttery I must say and werent dirty at all.

Did you end up getting the Infinite from the Calivapers gb? My Infinite had the same issue that you're having, it took alot of pressure to get it to fire the first few days but I just took the switch apart and cleaned it and it's smooth and easy as hell to fire now.

The logo on the HCigar button looks off.

Thank you! It looks horrid, I would rather not even have it there to be honest. Ive never ordered from fasttech before but from the pics, theres looks better. For this being Hcigar it looks a little sketchy, I know its a clone and everything but damn.

No, this is the Tobeco one. I couldn't figure out how to get the button apart. I got the first part unscrewed, but the knurled screw was really tight and I wasn't which way it was threaded.

Oh strange, it should just unscrew like any other pin. I would just use pliers. The first part on top of the delrin was actually the hard part for me until I got a flathead screwdriver.

Logo delete is easy enough. Little paper, little buff and some elbow grease.

My FT logo. Not polished. Button logo lighter color and has spots. Tube ray came dark but has faded. the logos are not deep but look pretty decent.

Not sure who's switch your refering. My switch is as received. I lightly wiped w/ a damp cloth but did not polished.

Your switch. It just looks nicer, like even and in the lines. I dont even know how to describe mine, well you saw it though.

Yeah, yours does look pretty bad. I'd just sand that down and polish/buff it. They really messed up the etching on that one.

How is the button disassembled? Never mind, I was being lazy... figured it out.

I messed up my button last night by not taking it apart to dry it properly after washing it from the polish. Some water got stuck in there and tarnished the silver plating. I managed to clean it up a bit, but it's still not firing as well as last night. Guess I'll have to give it a good cleaning.

Now that I used my Tobeco Stingray for a couple of days I am not thrilled with it. The button sticks and misfires from time to time, the tubes aren't as seamless as the infinite and the bottom button is not as nice looking as the infinite.

I am disappointed after having paid for and waited for this mod since 2/8.

I have a black copper version coming in soon so I won't look for another brass Stingray until after receiving that one.
