For months I have been trying to get a response from someone in the 8th Congressional District in Ohio. This district is close to Cincinnati and includes Middletown. John Boehner should be next House Speaker and could be invaluable to us. Congress will adjourn very shortly for the recess and hopefully he will be in his District at that time. Do we have any CASAA reps in his district? Kristen,Volcalek,or other board members,can you help me? It would be great if someone could visit all of his offices in his District,talk to a staffer, leave CASAA information, and ask for an appointment with Mr. Boehner. I believe he would not be pleased with the duplicity of the FDA. We really need to make him aware of this issue as soon as possible and hopefully receive his support. It might be very difficult to get an appointment with him after the mid-terms. If the election goes well,he will be very involved in the Speakers" race.

I plan to attempt to contact some of his longtime friends next week,but it is imperative that we have someone visit his District offices. I will find out the locations of all of his local offices and post that tomorrow. PLEASE HELP!! We really,really need someone in his district. Thanks

Boehner is, and has been for 20 years, the bought and paid for water boy of BT and BP.

He's the 2nd and 3rd largest recipient, respectively, of campaign funds from those two industries.
And as a minority member that's quite an accomplishment.
That dubious distinction usually goes to a member of the majority party.

But he's been a good boy, carrying the corporate water for 20 years.
Hell, he was even nailed handing out BT checks on the House floor some years ago.

If there is anyone more in bed with big business in general, and BT/BP in particular, please let me know.
Perhaps you heard about the recent emergency meeting he held, where he invited 100 of his favorite Wall Street lobbyists to strategize on how to defeat the reform bill designed to prevent economic crashes like the one the housing market experienced?

Boehner is the buttboy of BP and BT. Always has been.
Anyone who tries to influence him on the subject of e-cigs better bring PLENTY of cash. You'll be competing against two of his wealthiest and longstanding companions.
