I have been here in a while, but I felt compelled to let the community know what I've been dealing with. I've been using JC liquids for 4 years now, and I have to say that I'm convinced that this brand of liquid is damaging my atomizers. I can sometimes get good action, acceptable vapor, and so-so flavor. I've stuck with JC because it's USA made liquid, but I'm just tired of going through atomizers as fast as toilet paper! Okay... It's not that bad, but still... I ordered 2 x HH .357 Atttys a few weeks ago, and one of them is nearly non-useable. I have it in a PG/Grain solution (jewelry vibrator) in the hopes of resurrecting it. I began using my #2 HH .357, and it seems as though the liquid has already clogged it up after one 3 days use.

Can someone recommend a good USA made liquid? I would love to find a good root beer flavor!

IIRC.....JC juice is 100% VG.....this alone CAN cause coils to gunk faster.....
You could try adding a drop or 2 of PG or distilled water to each "drip"...
FWIW.....the only JC juices I've used are tobacco flavors - Tennessee Cured (Red Oak) and Original....never had any real issues with clogging...even in a cheapo 510 bridgeless atty.....
Good Luck!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

i tried johnson creek when i first started vaping back in 2008. didnt like them then. i ordered a sampler that came in a cool, useful tin. thats the only part of the order i liked. the juices all tasted too nutty, and then caused my atties to taste dry, even though they were wet. sad to hear they havent improved over the years.

ive been doing business with myfreedomsmokes since, because i really enjoy his tobacco flavors. virginia, cohiba, and septwolves are my favorites. hes been around at least as long as ive been vaping, and he delivers within 3 days, even though hes in north carolina and im in seattle. his nicotine is sourced from the US, and he mixes in house. as to root beer, he does that one right too. i have found many to be too heavy on sassafras, which can really ruin the taste. his cola flavor is good too!

I like Johnson Creek VG juices a lot, but they will gunk most wicking atomizers quickly. Chain-vaping Red Oak Tennessee Cured reduced an Evod to uselessness in a matter of hours.

I've since just switched to using cartomizers. I like the flavor and convenience and will even occasionally use JC's prefilled cartomizers which seem to last a long time.

It's not just you. I've been using JC for some time now because I'm addicted to the Tennessee Cured flavor. It's been my personal favorite but you're right...it can kill an atomizer pretty quick. I've reached out to JC today asking if they can make .6 VG only so I can use in my low ohm mod or even if they can sell the concentrate. Instinct tells me they'll answer no, and no. But if they do I'll post back here and let you know. I have tried cutting TC with plain VG so I can use in my mod but it kills the flavor. May just try getting their lowest nic (1.1) and cutting that.

I'm another JC fan mainly the tobacco flavors---really been digging the Gold Reserve lately (think Silverthorn with a orange peel twist)

Can confirm that they seemed really hard on my stock Kanger coils.
Since I've been rebuilding those with 32 g Kanthal and cotton it make cleaning and dry-burning easy and extending life.

Recently got a Kayfun Lite 2 clone that I mainly use for those JC juice and those hold up well and are easy to clean

I am awaiting an order of a couple of the Pipe Sauces from epipemods based on PBusardo's recommendation.
Always up for the artisan styled tobacco flavors.

I hear you there KVS. Tobacco flavor is something that once a person acquires a taste for will always be enjoyed. In addition to being a long-time cigarette smoker, I also smoked pipes for many years and even within that realm there is high and low quality. I often went for the more expensive tinned varieties. Most for the tobacco...my favorite unflavored being a blend of Virginia and Perique (my fav...Ranier Long Golden Flake). There's just something about that aroma and sensation....if only you could duplicate in a vape juice! But also over the years I found a good number of premium flavored tobaccos I would like to see some attempt at duplication. Mac Baren's Vanilla Cream, Dan Tobacco's DaVinci, and Caledonian Highland Cream to name a few. You know...this sounds like a good subject for a new thread :)
