I remember Macfan telling us of all the delights of his experiments to make the JC juice! I imagined him over a stove with his pan full of wonderful ingredients boiling as he added a little glyerine, ecig review on the kitchen computer, his sidekick with 7 penstyles and many minis, janties and enjoys all lined up in a row dripping a new formula to each ecig, macfan puffing it and saying BINGO! Only now in his kitchen I imagine a big machine filtering it and bottling it! Perhaps Macfan tripped over the powercord for some of the batches making them all full of bits!

No, I've got a stack of bottles of JC liquid and it has the same rubbish "growing" in the bottom of it. Every single bottle. Because I live in New Zealand, I'm not that keen on shipping it back for a refund. I'm just a highly disappointed customer who will not go back.

I've wasted my money.

Added to that, the stuff definitely clogged my atomizers, almost immediately. A couple of puffs in, and it started going downhill - noticeably. This was not just my imagination. It was so obvious that I literally couldn't get the refilled cart off my atomizer quick enough.

ye , well that's 2 things it's got going for it , flavours and formula's

Pretty useless though when your spending your budget on replacing atomizers every day.
or worse still , depending on what that stuff is growing in the liquid, trying to find a battery charge point in your local hospital.

ofcourse the other downside of the atomizer problem is with the re-sellers. Take e-cigs.co.uk for example. He sells JCSJ and e-cigs, he also offers a 30 day warranty on his hardware. so if your buying JC from him and it's killing an atomizer every week that's a new atomizer he's gonna send you 4 times a month , so who's the real loser here.

If i was a JC re-seller , i wouldn't be a happy bunny

Hey Guys ...

Remember, lets all put it in to perspective. JC has LOTS of dedicated and happy clients. The people that are unhappy, normally display their emotions and dismay 10 times that of actual happy clients. I'm neither for nor against JC. I have my own personal opinions that I keep to myself or share if asked, but I am starting to see a trend in recent posts ....

JC Juice (newest batch) is what ... perhaps a month old?

The Batch e-smokeytreats (Phil) was selling may have been part of the old batch/not the new and improved, that seemed to get good reviews. Phil would need to confirm, but I'm not sure if JC replaced all of his old bottles with new and whether he had old or new, its nice to see him work with the customer to make things right! :)

So far, from the replies I have seen in regards to the new batch, there is Zero sediment or film in it and it was getting rave reviews, so my guess would be that the last few bottles/sample packs that customers have gotten were probably from an old batch ...

just my $.02 cents ...

that's true Cashmere and those people having problems would need to confirm if it is indeed a 'new batch' problem.

Either way , i've lost what little confidence i had in JC. I've not been a big JC user . the first bottle i got was labbeled incorrectly ( cherry vice tobacco ) and killed 2 of my atomizers and the British bulldog i recently got didn't live up to my expectations, but that's flavour and subjective.

Your right about there being alot of happy customers, i'm sure there are plenty, if JC throw enough sh*t against the wall something will eventually stick

It's non-PG, right?
I just find it little hard to believe something could live in 70% or so PG.

Kinda off topic, but I just wanted to post this since I did mention that we had gotten this stuff from E-smokeytreats. Phil got back to me very swiftly and is more than willing to make everything right. Just thought he deserved credit for it since it's not like he makes the stuff, it's actually JCs problem. Still, he stands behind what he sells and I still highly recommend the site.

Thanks for the kind words, I was told by Christian that the batch he sent me shouldn't give anyone any problems so I was surprised to hear that you were having issues.. And yes I do stand by the products I sell and will do what it takes to make things right with my customers!

I am also trying to figure out if this is the PG or NPG or both that people are having problems with ?.

Reason: I Noticed steve has added the sample packs to his site available from 21st Nov and was planning buying one or more .

Was going to buy the PG.

Now worrying about these sample packs.

Any way to tell if they are the new batch ?.

I suppose if I buy some new atomisers at the same time and use them exclusively with the JC then if there is a problem he will replace the lot.

Right after Johnson Creek announced their new formula I bought a bottle of Tennessee Cured 24mg PG. On 10/7/08 I ordered the sample pack 24mg PG. Both my wife and I have not had any atomizer issues with any of the flavors. The juice is clear, no cloudiness and no separation. I also keep mine at room temp. I did have problems with the old batch that were resolved by JC.

I believe CaSH is right that some have recieved the old batch. This problem seems to be centered overseas. Could this be the time lag of suppliers ordering it from the U.S. and being shipped to the U.k. and then distributed there? If your juice is cloudy or separating when left sitting for a day or two it is not the new formula and it should be returned to the supplier.

Actually it is not from the latest batch, but it was from a batch that was supposedly part of the batch that had gone through the new filtering process.

Phil

I had multiple bottles from the "new filtering process" batch and although they where much better than before they were still a little cloudy and sediment would form if the bottles were left to stand. It also sucked the life out of my atomizers but at a slower rate. Below is the next step JC took:

in the past week, we have asked an outside resource to look at our process and try to identify any possible culprits. She concluded that it may not be possible to truly filter out some of the flavoring oils used on some of the tobacco leaves. Further, that it may be possible that these oils could cause a problem. Though we purchase only dry tobacco, some in the mixture did have flavoring oil/residue on them. This is the only remaining possibility and one that we will now aggressively pursue.
Therefore, effective Monday 9/22/08, we will no longer use natural tobacco in any of our smoke juice and will instead switch to a tobacco flavoring liquid with nicotine.

This formula with tobacco flavoring liquid with nicotine has caused me no problems. I was very dissapointed with JC juice until this latest change and to be fair I am very satisfied now. So if you have any JC liquid that has any cloudiness at all or a small amount of sediment on the bottom it is not their latest, it was produced before 9/22/08.

Nope, it's both PG and VG. And it's ALL useless. Decent sized order too - I'm mighty disappointed, but as I've posted elsewhere, shipping costs to and from NZ mean that it's not even worth sending it back.

I just won't buy any more. :(
