Hey, I'll share a little love for JC, just ordered 90 ml of TC last night. Love this stuff, TC, along with Hype from AVE, are my typical day-in/day-out vapes. Placed my order about 10:00 PM last night, get to work this morning about 8:45 and I have an e-mail telling me my order has already been shipped, you just can't beat that.

I do have a problem with TC gunking-up my cartos, usually get around four days out of the carto before the taste really starts to be affected, whereas I easily get a full week, and usually longer, from my cartos with Hype. But this is a small problem to deal with, I figure the longevity of the cartos with Hype helps to balance the lack of same with TC.

I have tried just about all of the Red Oak juices and Silverthorn is the only one I just can't deal with, have about half of that 15 ml bottle left and it's now promised to a friend.

People complain about JC juices being thick, but except for Vanda, they aren't really very thick at all, my experience anyway, and not nearly as thick as most juices from AVE.

I will gladly accept any/all samples the folks at JC want to send my way, and if anybody else out there wants to get rid of there JC juice, just drop my line, I'll take it off your hands for you!

You too? I like ta threw the Silverthorn out the window. I don't know what's going on with that one but my tongue was Not Happy. It was actually almost like getting scorched with a strong pepper or something. Very... weird.

TC doesn't work for me. Though I've set the sample aside in case it's a steeping thing and will try again later. I landed on Domestic as my "tobacco like" one from them.

That's the one thing I still like about Blu. Whatever they had JC do to make "Classic tobacco", I really like it. Just refuse to pay through the nose for their cartos. Domestic seems to be about as close as I can get. So far at least.

(Though I'm thinking maybe the "just like tobacco" thing is a total snipe hunt and will probably blow the whole idea off... too many other great sounding flavors out there waiting to be sampled. :) )

Hey Mark,

The perfect "just like tobacco" juice doesn't exist, the whole vaping vs smoking process is so different that it can't exist, in my opinion anyway. Like most of us, I too searched for something that would replicate smoking before realizing that what I really needed was just a juice, any juice, that I enjoyed so much that it took the place of smoking.

Currently, Tennessee Cured and Hype both fill that requirement for me, but I know this will probably change at some point down the road, just as my juice of choice has changed in the past. I keep other juices in my supply to prevent burnout of my favorites. Some that showed great promise at the start have faded to obscurity, and some that I didn't like at first have moved up the order, but aren't ready for prime time.

Yeah it's almost like a "stage" we all go through. :)

There's just something in the Blu "Classic Tobacco" that I can't quite pin down in words that I like which I would like to find elsewhere. Closest I can come to in describing it is there's a "smoky" aftertaste kind of thing going on. It's not exactly tobacco but it's reminiscent of something I liked about smoking. I'd love to know what they did to get that.

Currently, Tennessee Cured and Hype both fill that requirement for me, but I know this will probably change at some point down the road, just as my juice of choice has changed in the past. Yeah I'm building a "rotation" so I avoid what I did early on. Found one I really liked and way over did it. I still like it but it's never been quite as good. I think I'm going to "retire" it a while.

Still sampling JC's liquids. Seems when they "hit" with me, they're good for long term vaping. Their flavors don't tend to overwhelm and I can vape a Vanda or Rainier a long time without getting tired of it. Use some stronger flavor ones like, oh, dessert maybe? Less frequently so I don't tire of them.

But, no, the "just like tobacco" thing is pretty much dead. It's more that whatever Blu has JC doing to make Classic Tobacco. Somewhere out there, I bet other folks have hit on whatever it is in one way or another. In the mean time, I do get a disposable once in a great while. The disposable is better than even their little overpriced cartos.

In the mean time, my mail carrier is late. I'm about ready to go stalking. I have a Key Lime in this order I'm itching to try! :)

Glad you like them. If I had tried them when I first started vaping, I probably would have loved their juice, but I tried almost a dozen other vendors before them and they didn't impress me much. Maybe it's because I got Red Oak samples (I can't vape PG juices), or maybe it's the nicotine strength. Whatever it is, I'm not blown away by them like I thought I would be from what others said. But, taste is subjective, so it's probably just me lol.

I love some straight out of the bottle (Domestic, Tennessee Cured, and Tundra) and some I like better when mixed with others.

-Tundra with some Domestic and a little bit of Swiss Dark is close enough to Magnificent Menthol for me.
-Rainer with some Domestic is also close enough to Cherry Crush for me. Occasionally I'll add a little Swiss Dark.
-Domestic with Tennessee Cured is one of my ADV's.
-Vanda with Swiss Dark. Or Vanda, Swiss Dark, and Rainer.

Silverthorn is definitely a miss for me and I am trying real hard to like Solstice, but it's not happening yet. Marcado is one of my occasional vapes when I'm feeling like having a Clove cigarette.

I have been vaping the Swiss Dark all day, and it's name suits it! Had a panic attack when my first Clearo bit the dust (NOT related to the juice, I think I pulled on the wick too hard last night when I was drying it--or it was just "it's time") and now I'm here to check out some of the Forum Suppliers so I can get more. Don't get me wrong, I do intend to support the ECF community, too! I really am enjoying the JC juice though. Thank you to so many for their comments and suggestions on this thread, though! I am sorry to learn that JC ended their relationship with ECF! :(

I love their Swiss Dark, I mix is with RY4, and my god I can't get enough of it. Any RY4 really, with Swiss Dark, is amazing. And I don't know I haven't had any problems with any of my clearo's. Every bottle says deionized water on it, so maybe it is different now? I wash my clearo's every night though, so maybe that is why also. Plus JC has the best customer service, hands down. My first order with them I ordered like 6 bottles of 24mg juice, and realized I couldn't vape that high of nicotine. So I figured I was ....ed, so I got some flavorless VG base to dilute it down, but it muted the flavor. So I eventually just decided to open a ticket with JC to see what I could do, and the first email I got back from them they sent me a UPS return label and told me to return all the juice and they would sent back new ones. And I already had opened every single bottle and probably vaped about 1/4 of the juice out of some of the bottles, and they still just sent me brand new ones, and changed some of the flavors around. Before I even realized that I couldn't vape 24mg I placed a second order with them for 7 more bottles, and they gave me a second return label to send those back as well, so I didn't have to pay for any shipping to them or to return to me. They could've just told me to put it all back in one order, but nope they paid for two shipping labels. I don't know any other vendor that would do that to be honest. I was actually pretty amazed. Plus the bottles themselves are top notch, and they send a dropper top for every bottle and a free 3mL or 4mL(not sure the size) little bottle with every bottle you order. Which is awesome as I have like 15 little bottles now to mix flavors in.

I have to agree with the customer service, they go the extra mile for their customers. I find myself using Swiss Dark a lot with other flavors. There's something about it that makes it a good base flavor.

I didn't taste any cacao or vanilla. However, I tasted a burned caramel and (again) JC Original.

I'm a huge Johnson Creek fan. There are some other vendors that I've used in the past but for the most part JC is my main supplier. I've tried everything from their Red Oak line and I enjoy most of it. The only flavors I didn't care for were the Swiss Dark and Solstice. Everything else has been good to great.
I HAVE to have Red Oak Tennessee Cured. That's my go to in the morning. The others that I usually use are Wisconsin Frost, Island, Marcado and Vanda. Those five are my must haves and then I'll usually have a bottle of something else depending on my mood.

Man Marcado never produces like ANY vapor for me, and I want to use it so bad because it tastes damn good....I don't know what the hell is wrong with it. And I might have to agree with Solstice....I got mine like a week and a half ago, and right out of the box all I could really taste was menthol. It's been steeping since then though, so maybe it will get better, I guess I'll find out.

Smoked coffee aftertaste in Blu Classic Tobacco.
Guess that's what makes it great?
Java Jolt is the worst thing I've ever vaped though.

Yeah... something like that. JC's Domestic gets close. I'm vaping it now. But it's not quite there. Oh well. I'm finding lots of other great flavors.

And Java Jolt? Yeesh. There's a flop and a half. I couldn't coax hardly any vapor out of those cartos half the time. Much less any flavor...

My Marcado gives tons of vapor. I'm not sure what's going on there. Possibly a bad batch? Shoot them an e-mail with the batch number and they'll send you another. I wish they would put a little more clove and a little less cinnamon, but it's still pretty decent.

I'm having the same problem with Solstice, hopefully steeping will help. Needs more fruit flavor and less menthol on the exhale.
