Joye 510 alternative

Hello,

My wife and I both smoke the 510 and love it to an extent. The problem is the 510 leaks... a lot. It's not that we put too much either. If we set it down, it leaks. If we refill it, it leaks. You get my point.

What I would like to know is this... Can anyone suggest an alternative e-cig that doesn't have this issue, or something we could try that could prevent this from happening.

I use a Prodigy from puresmoker and it never leaks. And the term is "vape" not "smoke". There is no smoke, just vapor.

check out the review of my teslair in the video reviews. It is very similar in size etc to a 510 but a different brand. It is a two piece as well. Awesome deal too.

if you refer to leaking between the cart and atty you can sacrifice a "cart condom".cut off the end and use it as a sleeve/gasket.hope this helps

All atomizers can (and do) leak, but it can be kept to a minimum with practice. Cartomizers can also leak, but the problem is negligible once you get the hang of refilling them.

There are adapters available for most of the major models of atomizers/cartomizers (especially the KR8, 510, 901, 801) so they will also fit the batteries you already have.

I find the M602 to much superior than the 510. Its similar in size but both battery and atomiser performance is much better than the 510. I'm surprised it hasn't received that much attention since it has been around for some time. I have had it for quite a while and have not experienced any leakages unless i overfill.

Yep I second the Cortomizer recomendation by quasimod. You don't need to shell out a bunch to try them either with an adaptor for about $2.50 and a packet of 5 Cartos for about $6.50 from Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail your set to go with your 510 gear and no big investment until you know you like it!!

They also have Cartos that fit straight on the 510 but they have slightly less capacity than the KR808 Cartos.

I 100% agree with the person saying if you get a mod, like a Chuck, Prodigy v2, xhaler,SB, BB, provape, etc, ur leaking issues will disappear ...or will dissapate to a min bc it stands upright... There are alot of Mods out there, and in long run, they vape more consistant and stronger, the batts you use in them are cheap (2-8$ea) and charge abt a thpusand times so even tho the mod costs 50-100$, in the long run, youll still be using it and all those lil cig looking batts that that only work a fewmonths then burn out or become inconsistant can be the ones you give to a smoker friend to let them try vaping.... a kit costs 35-60$, and ALL parts are parts that arent built to last, disposable if you will...w a mod, u only need to worry abt having atties, and every 6 or so months a ne w set of $5 batts....and they stand upright so no leaks!!!!!!

Or get a Tornego (Tornado or Ego). These are 510s with a super batt. They also come with a cone that screws over the atty to the top of the batt. If it leaks, the liquid is trapped in the cone and you can just wipe it off next batt change.

Personally I never had any problems with the leakage....

But, as already mentioned..... KR808D-1 style cartomizers (with an adapter).. or the "newer" 510 style cartomizer will probably lick that problem for you.

I havnt had a problem with my 510 leaking, but i did just upgrade to the tornado/ego, im loving it

My 510 doesnt leak - myabe find out why yours does before getting something new and spending $s?
Store it upright in a cup perhaps?
Where is it leaking from?
My attys only leak after I take them off and throw them on my desk on a paper towel. I dont use filled carts btw I only drip; I figure its the tiny bits of liquid left in there that are 'wicking' onto the paper towel when not in use.

I suspect they are using thinner juice than we do. My 510 would leak where the atty meets the batt when I mixed my juice too thin.
