As a new member I can't post else where yet, but I am not a complete and total noob as I have read a LOT on the whole e-cig subject...

Here is my issue: I started with a Boge Q510 disposable. Liked it in general so I decided to buy a genuine 510 kit with a variety of liquids to try. I LOVE the amount of vapor and throat hit I get with the genuine 510 but HATE the batteries. I will probably try manual batteries later but I have automatics for now. I SPECIFICALLY chose auto's because the 3-50X rechargable disposable Boge battery seemed perfect as far as sensitivity and good battery life, would last all day with medium use and only activate when used. The genuine Joye batts are WAAAY too sensitive and I already have an atty that now needs to be cleaned out thoroughly from over burn in my pocket. I DON'T want to have to untwist the battery every time when I can be in a hurry and just want to pocket my PV's.

What battery would you recommend for me?

Thanks so much in advance!

Dan

Honestly, the easiest upgrade would be an eGo USB batt. If you standard eGo batts you will need a charger also. W/ the USB batt, you can use it at the computer as a PT and not waste the batt. Then when you go out, it's charged up and ready to go. I just bought one for $20 plus shipping from here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...pemasters-com-grand-opening-blowout-sale.html If they are out, you can get them at Goodprophets.com and shipping is free over $30, and new customers get 30ml of free juice.

OK, so I definitely like just pocketing my PV's quickly and not having to use a case, so are the manual buttons easy to get pushed in your pockets with keys, etc? So, if so and you guys HAD to chose an auto batt, what do you recommend that isn't too sensitive? Thanks again!

There are eGo button protectors at GP for $1. They work really well. I haven't had mine misfire, but I know others have without a protector

Ya, the 510 atty seems excellent as far as vapor production for me so I'm not sure if I need an eGo? I definitely would like a bigger cartridge for sure but the eGo kit on VapeMasters says it comes with 510 carts. Also you lost me on the cone and threads thing? And while you are being so helpful (THANK YOU), what does LR refer to on atty descriptions?

LR=Low Resistence. It increasesthe watt output of the coil, so burns hotter. Personally, I don't like them. The eGo batt has threads on it that are designed to hold the eGo cone. The cone covers the atty, and makes a sleek transition between the eGo batt and the much smaller atty. If you are gonna get a kit there, you don't need to worry about it. Already comes w/ a cone. If you are happy w/ the 510 taste/vapor/TH, you probably won't care for the LR atty, they tend to reduce the flavor of sweet juices tremendously. Some people prefere them, just not my thing, Here is what a mega eGo w/ a eGo mega atty/cart and button protector looks like(above a SmokeStik PitBull):

And just for fun, an eGo mega carto on a 510 lol:

You could try manual batteries for the 510 that is what I use. I have been giving some thought to upgrading to ego but have to wait I spent to much money so far :).

Well let's look at it this way eGo USB batt for around $30 gets you 650mAh with a passthrough capability. Two 510 mega bats at 280mAh ea getts you just 360mAh for around $30. So by going w/ two 510 megas you are giving up nearly 300mAh and a passthrough. I think you should reconsider that.

LOL, now I'm "DUH", I just totally spaced that acronym, I also remember what TH is too... hehe... Anyway ya, that's why I went with the 510, I kept hearing about how the stock atty is nice and hot with good vape volume and TH, and they were not kidding... plenty of that... anyway i see what you mean by the cone looking at the kit description pics... it's a wide to narrow atty... Anyway, thanks again for all the help, you have been very helpful, informative and patient with my noob Q's!

ive found the ego cartos and xl cartos hit and miss, some people love em, i use the 510 atomizer and cartridge, cut my own fluval (polyfil) and get a pretty consistant 1.5/2 hours on a cart full. The cartos just were not consistant for me, dry/flood/dry/flood, there are mods out for em, but im going to try the 510 CE2 V4 ceramic cartomizers soon as they are readily available, that and the ego batteries and im set.
