Howdy folks!

I have looked and looked and I can't find any good answers; the search function is only mildly decent, so I apologize if this has been answered.

I am new to vaping, in fact, I just got my starter kit in the mail today. I've been using disposables for 4-5 days now and I am enjoying the process overall. I can't smoke analogs anymore, they taste nasty!

Anyways, on to the need of help.

I ordered the Joye 510, standard battery setup, a five pack of cartomizers(Boge Soft Cap 510s) and Dekang juice.

When I vape with the standard atomizer it goes smooth, with no sound; however when I put the cartomizer on, it crackles and pops. The vapor is good, the throat hit is good, but there is this crackling that bothers me.

The disposables didn't do it, the atomizers don't do it, why do the cartomizers do it? Is it normal? Should I be concerned?

Thanks everyone!

No worries, nerdbox! Popping is pretty normal for a healthy carto...it means it is working right. The sound you are hearing is juice vaporizing in a space where it has less place to go, so it pops like on a water on a hot skillet. This doesn't mean cartos will always pop and crackle, but it is definitely not a bad sign if they do.
