Joye 510: Should I buy?

Hey folks!

I figured I would ask the veterans around here because, well, they tend to know what they're talking about.

Right now my only E cig is a "smoke free" thing I got from the mall. I can't even remember the model number any more (it's been a long time since I've been on the forums.) It's like, RN--- or something of that sort, I believe.

Basically, I became bored with it because of the lack of vapor it produced. You could draw on it for the full 5 seconds before it shuts itself off, and still not get anything impressive as far as vapor, even using 100% VG. Because of this, I ended up going back to analogs...

Well, now I'm determined to stay off regular cigs (been off since the end of winter break) but college stress doesn't make things very easy. I'm going to pick back up the E cig, but I've also been looking at getting a Joye 510. Do they really produce as much vapor as videos like this (YouTube - Video review of the JOYE-510 from E-SmokeyTreats) claim? I would really love to get an e cig that produces vapor in the quantities that cigarettes produce smoke. Drawing forever on it just to get a little puff is very annoying for me (yeah, I'm picky haha.)

My other question: where can I find a basic starter kit for cheap? I found one online for 30 dollars, which seems like a decent price. Being a college student, I don't have much money to throw around, but if it means keeping myself off of normal cigarettes (and therefore keeping my girlfriend not mad at me) then it's probably worth it :p I already have e juice, so all I need is the battery, atty, and a few carts.

So, to sum it up: the more vapor, the better. The cheaper, the better. I'm looking at the Joye 510, but if anyone has any suggestions for other models/ways to make my current PV better, please let me know!

The 510 is probably the perfect entry-level PV, mainly because it is good as is, and will likely be much better than the mall ecig, and most mods are fitted for the 510 atty threads. $30 is a decent price. You might find lower if you try, but I would recommend making sure it is a Joye (also called Joyetech) 510. There are others, but the Joye 510 atty is a bit lower in resistance and will give a stronger hit. From that, with time, you can try 510 cartomizers, larger battery types, etc. But I would say the 510 regular basic kit is the most popular here for starters, and for good reason. E-Smokey Treats was my first 510 too, and while this is purely good luck, or maybe not, the 3 attys I got from them are still in my rotation after 18 months. And so are the batteries when I fell like using them. If you want to make it a two-piece PV, get some cartomizers. They are great. Its all going to be a big step up from the mall brand, probably, and for a lot cheaper.
