I read lots of reviews on other models, but the fact is that I'm pretty happy with my 510. After the initial newbie problems, I know enough about it now to vape pretty steadily all day, with no more issues. The battery life is a little short, but as another poster already stated, I have lots of extras. And it's no big deal to swap a battery out when you've got others already charged & ready to go.

I started with a 510 - loved it. Still love it. I'd done months of reading and researching before I ordered it. Getting started with it was a breeze.

I quickly ordered extra starter kits and swapping out the batteries, topping off, refilling carts, etc. really wasn't an issue at all. I never got a pass-through, I really didn't mind keeping a few batteries charged and ready.

I was very happy and attached to my 510 and never felt the want or need to try other PV models, or mods. When I read about the eGo/Tornado it appealed to me because it IS a 510 with a long lasting battery.

Since I have an erratic schedule and it's often inconvenient to change out the batteries I did order a Tornado. It uses the same atomizers and I didn't have to change my routine with my cartridges. It's just so convenient to have that long lasting battery.

I'm still pretty new at this, but I will always love my 510. It just works for me. I still use it with the standard batteries sometimes just because I like the way it looks and feels. It's just familiar and comfortable.

I will always be grateful for my 510 as well because I was able to immediately transition to vaping and quit a heavy 25+ year smoking habit. I haven't looked back. It's awesome and life changing to be "smoke free" - finally :)

I love my 510, too, and very rarely use anything else. I have a cigar (Newbie purchase), a few 901 atties, and for testing purposes a KR8, which I can't say works for me.

The only thing that I quite disliked about my 510 (but the 901 has the same problem) was leaking, and the eGo neatly circumvents that problem. Also, while I did not mind changing batteries, I sure don't mind having to do that less often. But as the eGo is still a 510, I am still a big 510 fan ;)

If im the only one that is completily 100% satisfied with the 510? I know i havnt tried any of the others ie: Chuck, SB , Juicebox ect ect . But honestly i really like the joye 510 and I havnt thought of buying another brand yet, Of course I can dream and if i had tons of money i would buy them all so i can have all the cool toys out there. Maybe i just dont know what im missing , But back to my question is there anyone out there that has been vaping for a long time and still use thier 510's. Im fine with the 510 it is so easy for me to use, Knock on wood, I havnt had any problems with TH or Vapor not being up to par. Am I just wierd to think that i can survive on the 510 alone?

There seems to be a progression and it has changed a bit - used to be you had the Joye 510 kit and then got a passthrough for stationary work/car and a pcc for going out. The PT and PCC were 'solutions' to the needed recharges. All cig style ecigs need to be recharged but the 150mAh on the 510 manual batt, needs it more often. When the mega batts hit the shelves, they were a welcome alternative to people that weren't tied to cig length type ecigs. 3.7 Volt mods that had batteries that held peak charge were a significant improvement in battery life before needed a recharge and in vapor production that was already better than most ecigs. But it's the Joye 510 atty that drives all of this - the ohm rating lets it run a bit hotter than others and that makes more vapor and in many popular ejuices, more flavor too.

While I still have a few manual and auto 'regular batts' at hand, 'what you're missing' is the peak voltage of some of the mods (even the 3.7v mods) that make even more vapor and have an easier draw to boot. It's better than having a regular 510 batt hot off the charger for hours. The cheapest way to find that out is the Bartleby, and frankly, imo - being less expensive is not even the best part of the Bartleby - the charging cable/virtual PT, the on/off switch and box mod ergonomics all make vaping virtually effortless and pleasurable and flavorful too.
