also does anyone know if the 510 mega can be used in either of these 2 units. with adapter of course for the joystick.

No it can't if you are talking the mega 510 atty, which I believe is designed for high voltage, and only the mega carts will fit the mega atty.
I'm reasonably sure the mega line is for normal voltage,just increased volume.

I thought he meant the magnum atty which is a low resistance atty, that works great on a 3,7V device and produces similar vapor to an HV device. Unfortunately the stick batteries (10440) are not rated for the current draw. As I wanted to try that combo. The good news, it will work on the eGo.
