Hi,
I'm really interested to move from analog cigarette to e-cigg.
The problem that I have is I'm not really the type of person who like to modify this and that for anything.
So I think starter kit that some brands offered is good enough for me to use.
I'm thinking to get Joye 650 Ego T starter kit.
Is there any suggestion or comment on the product it self?
Should i get the starter kit or should i order the spare parts from different brands n assemble it myself.
Really hope to get a few answer here. Thanks.

Welcome to the ECF! Kits are usually a great way to get started because they include everything you need except the juice usually. Making one up yourself may end up costing a little more when you include the charger. The eGo-T is good, although I'm not a big fan of that tank cartridge system and think it's easier to get started with cartomizers. You can always add those on, though, because the eGo-T batteries are going to be compatible with the whole range of 510 and eGo atomizers and cartomizers.

thanks for your reply....
could u lighten me what is the different between the tank and the normal one. from what i know the different is only at the amount of juice that we can put into the cartridge, which make me think that, if i choose tank, then i dont always have to refill the catridge. correct me if i'm wrong.
i usually smoke one pack per day.
from the joyetech product, is there any series that you can recommend for me? the reason why i choose joyetech because from the website where i'm gonna buy it, they only offer joyetech and innokin itaste. its quite difficult to find supplier that can successfully ship the stuff to my country as i'm from Singapore

Welcome to ECF.
The problem that I have is I'm not really the type of person who like to modify this and that for anything.
If this is the case I would stay away, as posted above, from the older "tank" system- cartridge + atomizer- they are prone to leakage.

Different delivery systems:- note bolded Atty, Carto, etc is the abbreviated form
Atomizer/ Atty- an element on to which 3-4 drops of juice is dripped- usually used for testing new juices because Attys are easy to clean. There are some diehard Atty users because it’s the best vape possible but very time consuming.

Cartridge/ Cart- a container with sponge (filled with juice) that is used with the Atty- juice drips on to Atty from filled cart and is vaporized- older outdated first “tank” system and prone to leaks unless the user is willing to buy extra seals and “fiddle” with them.

Cartomizer/ Carto- metal tube with stuffing and element. Holds anywhere form 1- 4 ml of juice. Carto is fully saturated and must be occasionally refilled when juice runs out. My Cartos last 1-2 weeks. Best Cartomizer I’ve found is the Smok Tech XL 1.7 single coil. Boge 2.0 ohm cartos will give a cooler vape. Always use single coil cartos with 3.3- 3.7 PVs for the best vape.

Carto+Tank- a Carto with a hole punched in it. Carto is than placed in a glass, metal or plastic tank which is filled with juice- juice saturates Carto by way of hole in Carto. My Cartos with a tank last, before tight draw occurs: light juices- 80-90 ml. dark juices- 50-60 ml.

Clearomizer (includes the Stardust and the Vivi Nova Tank)- a plastic or metal tank with a wick and element. Contains NO stuffing. The rebuildable clearos come with heads (coil+ wick) that can be cheaply and easily replaced. When the head burns out simply unscrew the old head out and screw in new head- takes 10 secs. My Vivi Nova heads are lasting about 4 weeks BUT I wash the heads every few days. I've found the Vivi Nova to give the best draw.

When I first began vaping I used Boge 2.0 ohm single coil cartos (1 ml). After 1 month I switched to Smok Tech XL 1.7 single coil cartos (1.8 ml). Next I used a carto+and tank (3ml) setup. When the cracking and wicking issues were resolved I got into Startdusts (1.6 ml). I now use the Mini Vivi Nova (2.0 ml) rebuildables as I feel they give a better draw and are far superior in quality. It is VERY important to match the correct ohms delivery device to the PV we are using otherwise, dry hits or a weak vape will occur.

wah thanks for your clear explanation.
I guess for now, starter kit is the best option for me to try out.
For Ejuices, there is this question asking me how many MG that i want with options available is 24,18,12,6 and 0.
I guess this is related with the nicotine or whatsoever. If i'm a heavy smoker who smoke around 1 - 1.5 pack per day, which option should i take?

You're welcome. Most new vapers begin at 18 or 24 mg. I would start at 18 mg just to be safe. Before you actually buy it might be a good idea to post your purchase list here in case you've missed something.
Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 15%- could be higher or lower depending on the flavor used.
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG.

Also a good idea to buy samples...
Best to buy samples to find your likes and dislikes. When I first began vaping I bought 30 wide ranging samples/ 3ml. Out of those 30 I liked 10. Immediately ordered another 20 and out of those I liked 10…so out 50 different flavors I enjoyed 20. Months later I tried those 30 samples that I disliked and enjoyed all but one. Whether it was because my tastes had changed or they needed steeping I don’t know. Realize also "same name" juices will vary greatly in taste from vendor to vendor as they all have diff recipes and order ingredients from diff Suppliers. At the time 30 ml was selling for $20...samples were $3.00- would've have cost me a small fortune if I had bought 30 ml bottles to start.

Here's a search engine- maybe some B&M in your area where you can sample juices:
Electric Cigarette | Eliquid | Supplies | Electronic Cigarette | Ejuice | Vapor Search USA

Thanks. unfortunately in my country where i resided, it will be impossible to get the stuffs locally. thus, i'm trying to look for online alternative. eventhough there is chances for the items to be confiscated at the custom, thats the only thing i can do to get the stuff. so it will be quite impossible for me to order many ejuice with the smaller amount as for samples.
I'm thinking to get either Joyetech eGo T(Tank) 650mAh Starter Kit or Joyetech eGo T(Tank) 900mAh Starter Kit.
the content of the kit willl be :
Kit content:
Joye eGo T atomizer Type A/B (Resistance: 2.2ohm) 2pc
Joye eGo T cartridge Type A/B (capacity:Type A 1.1ml/Type B 2.0ml) 5pc
Joye eGo T 650mAh battery (voltage 3.3V) 2pc OR Joye eGo T 900mAh battery (voltage 3.3V) 2pc
Joye eGo T USB charger (420mAh) 1pc
Joye flat mini wall USB charger 1pc
Joye eGo-T overflow prevention cap (Type A/B) 5pc
Rubber mouthpiece (Type A/B)2pc
Manual 1pc
Pouch 1pc

still deciding on the juice cos i find it too risky to order both kit and ejuice in the same shipment. cos in terms of price, the kit is definitely more expensive compare with the ejuice. so i'm afraid because of the ejuice, the whole package will be confiscated.
For this i really need to find more info on my country vaper forum once i become verified member.

so in the meanwhile, i think its best for me to gain enough information on which kit should i choose and the components of the ejuice that i need to buy.

100 mah= 1 hr vaping normal vaping before batteries need recharge.
Joye eGo T atomizer Type A/B (Resistance: 2.2ohm) 2pc
Joye eGo T cartridge Type A/B (capacity:Type A 1.1ml/Type B 2.0ml) 5pc
This is the old tank system that is prone to leaks. I'd either get the Mini Vivi Nova- heads (wick+ coil) lasts at least 6 weeks- cheap to buy ($2.00) and easy to change- (10 secs).
or buy cartomizers.
Yes posting the Thailand Forum is a good idea. I have a reputable Thai based vendor but will wait until you have 5 posts (habve to wiat 1 hr for ECF servers reset and I will pm/ email you phone #, email and address.

Thanks alot. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. But i'm from Lion City, Singapore.
So the item that I plan to buy is the old one?
I really confuse with single/separated spare part. could you help me to decide from the website that i plan to make my purchase.
I only know 1 website which is healthcabin
at this point, making decision to buy which one or which brands its quite difficult because i totally dont know where else to get or any contact whatsoever.
another thing that i worry is if after i purchase the device, that i will have to keep buying the juice. which is one thing that also part of my concern as i'm afraid if my purchase being confiscated then i cant vape at all.
Or perhaps if you dont mind, could you help me to decide on which set should i get first from the website mentioned.
as this is general topic i believe it shouldnt be a problem for you to guide me.
Really appreciate it.

Thank you for clearing up that you're from SG. Unfortunately HealthCabin does not ship to Singapore. Because of the PV/ personal vaporizer being illegal in SG you might be wise to buy a PV with separate batteries. eGo is a battery with the electronics contained within the battery- good for 250- 300 recharges. When the battery dies or malfunctions it goes in the garbage.
With a PV that has a separate battery when the battery dies you simply purchase another battery- easily and legally bought in SG for $10 or less.
I will pm you some links shortly. I know there was a vendor that shipped in plain unmarked packages.

Thanks alot. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. But i'm from Lion City, Singapore.

It's 5 posts but you must wait 1 hr for the ECF servers to rest.

Let me get some info together and I'll pm it to you. Re the SGVapers Forum it usually takes a few posts before people will trust and send you info which is understandable.

Thanks so much. lucky i haven't place any order yet.
yes indeed the SGVapers Forum is understandably difficult to enter which is alright of course as its for all the local vapers interest also.
from what i read its not only PV and batteries there are still many other items such as charger, atomizers etc which is really confusing for a noob newbie like me who doesnt understand such stuff.
Hope to get a good news soon.
Eventhou its hard to get the way to order it, at least if i can know what spareparts or kit to order first, it will make it easier for me to ask people around.

Some are kits or you can build your own kit. In your case prolly best to get extras.

Thank you.
So for the PV, does it sold as PV or i have to buy such as clearomizer, cartridge, etc?
i guess i'll patiently wait for your pm about this. Hopefully you can give suggestion on what are the spare parts that i need to buy to start to vape

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE

2 Batteries, 1 Charger, and a USB/Wall Adaptor. Two types of juice delivery devices. E-liquid.

spinnerbattery.jpg
Vision eGo Spinner (easier to read settings, easier to use voltage dial) or Joyetech eGo Twist variable voltage batteries.

eGocharger.jpg
Appropriate charger and possibly a USB/wall unit to provide the option to charge away from a computer port.

Juice Delivery Devices:

single coil cartomizers.jpg
A (5) pack of single coil cartomizers at 2.5-3.0 ohm resistance. You'll also need at least one drip tip (mouth piece) to put on the end of these.

clearomizer.jpg
A couple of clearomizers (Vision or Kanger T3) to try.

vivi-nova-mini.jpg
A Vision Mini Vivi Nova tank to try.

*All the above can be found at Altsmoke. AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Your one stop shop!

* Disclaimer: I provide the vendor's link only as a suggested retailer. A potential buyer can choose who and where to purchase their items wherever they wish. I have no affiliation with the suggested vendor, however they are a popular and reputable e-cig business used by many ECF members.

Juice, or e-liquid:

For e-liquid, a typical 1 pack-per-day smoker likely will need 18-24 mg nicotine.

Figure on consuming 3-5 ml of liquid daily.
