Joye eGo Deal too good to be true...?

Please pardon me for my lack of knowledge here. I was watching video reviews for the Tornado and the Ego 510 (strongly leaning towards this for my first!) last night and stumbled on the litecigusa website. They have the EGO kit for $54.99. Please somebody who knows what they are doing, take a look before I press the order button. I couldn't find any bad reviews for the company itself, but then again, I am not an interwebz expert. Also, I am not sure if the kit comes with everything the more expensive same brand kits at $69-$74 come with. I am still in 'overwhelmed-not-sure-what-I-need-stage'. Thanks!

PS. I really like the Ego Passthrough thingy that charges a battery from your computer or your car. They claim the battery can go up to 6 hours once charged. Do you think this is true?

Thats a pretty good price but you can find one for less. I ordered mine from madvapes.com they still have them for $47. It comes with 2 batts, 2 attys, charger and a handfull of carts.

I also have a 510, but wanted longer battery life. the Ego lasts me 8 to 10 hours and I puff on it pretty constantly all day.
I was only getting 2 or 3 hours on the 510 batt.

That's not a genuine Ego....nothing wrong with knock-offs, but compare apples to apples.

Best price lately on a genuine Ego kit was Liberty Flights...40 bucks

I did not pay attention, if it was Joye or not. didn't mean to mislead anyone. I was just looking for the battery size of the ego when I bought it.

Not a bad thing at all....but there is a difference in quality between knock-offs and genuine. For the same money, you can get a genuine Janty Ego.

I bought a Joye eGo kit on sale from Vapemasters for $47.99, I LOVE IT. It's out of stock now, unfortunately. Check out the new supplier posts, that's how I found mine. The eGo battery will last me an entire day. I bought an eGo passthrough, but I hardly ever use it because the batteries last so long. I am going to be using it today to try the dry burn method to clean an atty, but I think that's probably all I'll ever use it for.

Regardless of which one you buy (I got mine from MadVapes and I can hardly put it down), just make sure you get extra attys, cartridges, juice, and maybe check out a pack of cartomizers. Welcome to ECF!

Ok, you guys are awesome. Now, the next question, what additional items should I get with this order. So far in my shopping cart, I have the kit, and the passthrough that charges from a computer and a car ciggy lighter. Like how many atomizers and cartomizers should I buy now so I don't run out of stuff too quickly?

I plan to look at juices next on the popular sites I've seen mentioned, and I am very much a DIY person once I have an understanding of the general basics, so I might have a couple of questions about that later. I know there are a lot of answers to my questions already here, but I am at max overload right now.

When I ordered my kit, I also got a mega atty and cart, and extra regular attys. I prefer the smaller atty, even though I have to fill the cart more often. The larger cartridge is just too clunky to me. I also ordered regular cartomizers and mega cartomizers. The regular ones are easier to fill, there are videos on youtube that show you how. The mega cartomizer doesn't seem to work well for me, but I think it's because the juice I use is thick. It is just trial and error until you find what you like the best.

The day I received my eGo, I wasn't sure if I needed to charge the battery for a full eight hours, so I went into chat and asked, got an immediate answer (no, just until the light was green). That made me happy, because I was able to get a fast answer and I was able to use it that day. I'm a purple freak, so I did order one purple eGo battery and cone from healthcabin. I was a little hesitant ordering from China, but it took less than a week from the time they emailed that the order was shipped until I received it. So now I have the perfect purple eGo, and I couldn't be happier!!

daisy, I would suggest getting at least 2 more atty's, 4 if you can afford them. DOA atty's are not fun. Good choice on the PT! I have one and I love it! How many cartridges does your kit come with? You might want to get another 5 pack of cartridges and a 5 pack of cartomizers just to give each type a go and see how you like them. Until you get comfortable enough to DIY juice, I'm going to suggest VaporBomb for juices. The prices, choices and service are excellent!

When I first started all this, I wanted all the gadgets including the eGo passthru. I'm real glad I didn't order the passthru as I see no need for it. The batts that come with are very adequate for a all day vape. I would suggest the passthru purchase at a later time to see if you even need it.
On the other hand, I am stuck next to my puter all day long, so IF i had done MY homework, I may would have bought JUST the passthru for my starter as it is mobile also. Hope that makes sense.

i got 4 ego kitts all from cignot.....http://www.cignot.com/..............i do alot of buisnes with these girls. there custimer servise is unbeatable. b4 you buy from any suplier test them. email them and time how long it takes to get back to you...lol. cignot is always rite there.
