Joye eGo Deal too good to be true...?

You guys have helped me a lot already, for example I am going to save myself a few bucks and not get the passthrough right now. Maybe later. Thanks for the tip! Also, I wasn't sure about the MEGA items, so I think I will pass on that as well. For now. And I think I can swing a few extra Atty's so I will have at least 4. The kit comes with 5 cartridges & 5 cartomizers, but I will double up on those, I just don't know if I should get 'low resistance'. Any ideas? Once I have the answer to this, I will finally click the order button!

Then I will get to the juices. Thanks for all of the site recommendations. I smoke Capri Violets, which were previously labeled 'ultra lights' ... did anyone else smoke a similar brand and have any recommendations? I don't know if it helps to know this, but in spite of them being 'ultra light' I think I double dragged them most of the time because I smoked marlboro lights before that. So I don't think I'm the 'ultra light' smoker I thought I was.

I'm being to see a trend here, all of the "best" prices are from outside the USA - the wait on the shipping has got to be weeks!
Thanks k5blazer for mentioning the pass through and its mobility...cathie

Some of the the places the shipping length isn't bad, you can get a package from east mall in a week.. shipping cost is killer though $17 so you have to order alot to make it worthwhile.

Don't know if you caught this thread yet... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/42135-tobacco-flavors-u-s.html

Very interesting to me, as I would enjoy making my own juice.

BTW: If that avatar is you... You are a VERY attractive lady. :)

Ok, you guys are awesome. Now, the next question, what additional items should I get with this order. So far in my shopping cart, I have the kit, and the passthrough that charges from a computer and a car ciggy lighter. Like how many atomizers and cartomizers should I buy now so I don't run out of stuff too quickly?

I plan to look at juices next on the popular sites I've seen mentioned, and I am very much a DIY person once I have an understanding of the general basics, so I might have a couple of questions about that later. I know there are a lot of answers to my questions already here, but I am at max overload right now.

I really appreciate how nice and patient you guys are answering the same questions over and over again for us noobies. <3

I would skip out on the LR atty's for now. As for nicotine level, my only advice is don't start too low. You might get cravings. Let me preface this by saying I cannot and will not tell you what level to start with, but I started at 18mg, and go between that and 24mg. You're experience will more than likely be very different from mine or anyone else's here.

Hmm. I did consider this. Now I am considering it again! Ugh! This is why it's been almost a month and I still haven't ordered, just too many options, lol.

For you its probably more economical to go with the regular eGo kit, with the PT by the time you add in atty's, carts, etc you'll be upto about the same price and you get 2 batteries with the kit. I love my eGo PT but I already had a bunch of 510 stuff so I just needed to buy the battery.

Ah, the PT dilemma. I have a 510 PT for use at home because I spend most of my life, quite literally, in front of a computer or a gaming console. My eGo batteries can be charging or ready and waiting for me. I use the eGo when I'm out and about or at work.

Poor daisy! If you're anything like me, your head is getting ready to explode with all the info right about now. So many choices and configurations. Why can't we just have one of everything?

Hi Daisy and welcome. Have u watched the videos in the stickys of the 'new members forum'? They r very informative. Also, on youtube look up cozzcon videos. He has a series of videos that gave me a world of knowledge on care and maintenance. The series is lengthy, but worth it.
I have been rinsing my atomizers in 70% alcohol once a week since I started my vapor venture 1.5 months ago and they are still going. Do this as soon as u open the package. Most of them are primed (oily) and you don't want that taste in ur mouth as ur first vaping experience.
PS - Don't throw out the empty cartridges that come packaged on the new atomizer. They r reusable, with a filler. I guess you'll learn about different fillers later.
Good luck and happy vaping!

Ah, Womanofheart, you must be psychic! The anxiety is giving me heart palpatations, lol. Gaming console huh? I'm a little bit of a gamer, only World of Warcraft though. Go ahead and laugh and, no I don't live in my mom's basement! LOL. My grandsons who are 7 & 4 challenge me to xbox and wii games every time I visit but I haven't gone there yet. I don't need any new addictions that will make me waste more money and time. This whole researching Vaping thing has some what taken over my desire to even log on to Wow in the last few weeks, and I am very happy about that! At least it's for a worthy cause, like my health.

Here is my order and I am going to click the button this time. For real. Unless somebody has an objection, or thinks I should add something else. I'm budgeting about $25-30 for juice, so grand total I'm hoping to keep it around $120, give or take a few dollars.

Joyetech EGO Kit in Matte Black $54.95
Joye 510 Atomizer - Stainless Steel $7.95
Joye 510 Atomizer - Matte Black $7.95
510 SLB SOFT CAP Blank Cartomizers $7.95
Joye EGO MEGA Blank Cartomizer $2.95 (thought I'd try 1 since it's cheap)
510 BOGE SOFT CAP Blank Cartomizers $7.95 (didn't know the difference between slb & boge, so getting both)

Total : $89.70 (Free shipping over $75)

What about a drip tip or one of those needle things?

Also, thank you technonut. Now that I'm a grandma, I especially appreciate the compliment. It was just a good pic on a good day earlier this year and I will probably use it for the next 5 years, lol. PS. the braces came off a few months ago.

i would not get the mega cartomizers yet. do some research you might need a different atty for them? someone else can answer that. you might as well get a drip tip and needle. it depends on the cartomizer i think

Mega cartridges you need the mega atty, but the carto's have the atty built in. You will need the syringe to fill the mega carto though I use 18 gauge with blunt tip.

Thank you everyone, and Squid, I figured I was making a noob move somewhere in that order, lol. At least I will have it on hand since I'm sure I'll be playing around with this vaping thing for a while. Provided I even like it, but I have a feeling after reading everything everybody has to say about it, I'm definitely going to.

I can't wait for my order to get here! I guess I better get to ordering some potions now!

OK
Thats a pretty good price but you can find one for less. I ordered mine from madvapes.com they still have them for $47. It comes with 2 batts, 2 attys, charger and a handfull of carts.

I also have a 510, but wanted longer battery life. the Ego lasts me 8 to 10 hours and I puff on it pretty constantly all day.
I was only getting 2 or 3 hours on the 510 batt.

The only difference is with Madvapes it is not a Joye. it is made by Bauway. Perhaps the same quality, i have no idea. Just wanted to point that out. For Joye, LiteCig is about as cheap as you can find...

Well I originally back February picked up a joye 510 for $ 44 and used it regularly for 8 months and still get 2 - 3 hours on a battery.. I just picked up a Riva eGo from the same people *Lost Coast Vaperz in Shell Beach *by Pismo Beach, Ca* and I paid $ 64 but the thing is I got to try it before I bought it, and compared to the 510 batteries do last 8 - 10 hours on the ego. Plus I am also picked up 2x winston flavored 24 mg eliquids, and 2x custom blended 36 mg that actually helped me quit buying my regular winston 100 cigarettes. I also picked up a usb car adapter to charge my e-cigarette and even my zune via my car and a Low Resistance Atty for my ego and to me well worth it, considering the past 4 days I was smoking 2x packs a day and I have not touched a cigarette since friday... I recommend getting the ego over the 510 but it costs more but well worth it.

HTH,
Charlie

RE: drip tips--

I love my drip tip, you can buy a 510 drip tip just about anywhere and they are only about $2-$4 so toss one in your cart next purchase you make. They are cheap, easy to use (easier than carts IMO) and worth the price to try even if you decide you don't like it you are only out a couple of bucks.

Good luck!

Hi Daisy! You better log in to WoW, there is a huge new patch getting ready for the expansion in Dec.! Haven't posted before but another "Grandma gamer" brought me out of lurking. WoW and vaping go great together.

I tried e-cigs last spring and got so frustrated refilling, constantly charging , it was just easier to have a cigarette. Last month, I got a few Riva kits, some new juice and the difference is night and day. Starting with good hardware like you are doing will make it a much better experience. Wish I had found this forum before I wasted my money on the first kits I tried from a local tobacco shop. They only carried one type kit, no extra atomizers or batteries available.

Ha ha! So good to see I'm not the only gaming grandma! We'll have to PM each other about servers and classes and all that. It's so addictive, but I'm into my 3rd year, going on 4, and there are just so many monsters you can kill, and professions you can level, so it's just now starting to get a little boring. Not sure if Cataclysm will keep me excited for very long, but I'm definitely going to buy it.

It's also funny that you mention vaping and playing. Since I don't smoke in my house, and I'm a stealthy smoker who doesn't like to advertise that I smoke, you can imagine all the excuses I've had to give my party members in long dungeon raids so I could go out for a few quick puffs, lol. I also miss my battle ground queue's a lot because of it. My guild thinks I've got the weakest bladder ever! I waste at least half a cig every time I smoke when I'm playing because you never have time to finish one.

I am so seriously excited, I feel like a kid waiting for Santa! That's why I'm all over the forums today, plus I'm at work and it's quiet today. And yes, Woman, I think I may have the potential to be a mailman stalker!
