Joye Ego-T voltage question

Hey guys,
So I decided to get my wife a few joye ego-t batteries because she was looking for something a little better then the 808d stuff and didnt want any big mods like my provari or LT.
I thought, "hey this is a no brainer" as I saw at The vapor Room that the joye ego t is 3.7 volt regulated. I was like hey that is pretty much my sweet spot at 2.0ohm. Then I read that they are only regulated at 3.3 volts..
So i'm confused I have read that they are 3.7 volt at 2 different sites and have read 3.3 in many other places..
Can someone help me out here. Is it something like they are 3.7volts but with a cartomizer on they are only 3.3 with the added resistance?

You got it about right Troy. The eGo-t is regulated to run around 3.3-3.4v 'under load' - with an atty or carto on. It's still considered a "3.7v batt" but again, it's regulated. Some eGo clones aren't so regulated - the Riva SE and some others run 3.7v under load. I have some Riva SE's and you can tell the difference as well as underload metering tells the story. :)

But my 'sweetspot' for most flavors is with the eGo-c batt with a standard resistance atty.

BTW, the eGo-c "upgrade" battery runs in two modes. One of them is just like the regular eGo-c (and eGo-t) - ie regulated to 3.3-3.4V and the other mode is like the Riva SE - to where the batt off the charger is @ 4.2V and then goes through the regular charging curve that runs at 3.7v mostly, underload, then decreases as the charge runs out.

One thing to note is that all eGo-c's have upgraded charge and short protection that the eGo-t does not have. And imo, that's significant. Don't leave the eGo-t charging overnight or while you're gone - really shouldn't do that with any batt but some here have tried to explode the eGo-c without success, so it is pretty stable. Still, I don't let them charge overnight either :)
