I just got the 1300 today from madvapes, and I really like it. I am using the Vision eGo Clearomizer 2.1-2.4 ohms on it and puffing on some Tribeca. At 3.3 - 3.8 is real nice, above that starts getting harsh and burnt tasting. None the less, I can't believe how much cleaner the taste is vs. a cartomizer on a 808, WOW! I just need to search the forum learn more about ohms, volts, and megawatts...

Now, my old boss who I still keep in touch with strongly urges me to still purchase the Joye eGo-C and only that brand. States the quality of Joye is superior to any and everything out there in it's class. I noticed they are more expensive, can anyone with experience here chime in and advise if that would be a wise purchase? Does it vape as good as the Vision Spinner?

I am curious...

Well, I personally don't have any experience with the vision spinner. I do have a twist, and the only thing I've really heard about the difference of these two batteries would be that the vision spinner has much clearer markings which makes it easier to see what voltage you're currently set at. I have to say the markings on the twist are very difficult to see unless you're in light. In dim settings or dark places, you'll never be able to see the markings. As far as performance goes the twist is very capable, and I'm told that the vision spinners are of equal quality.

I'm using the same setup (vision spinner 1300 with a 2.1-2.4 vision ego clearomizer (or "stardust"). I have two main flavors that I vape, and I've found that each one needs it's own volt setting. My vanilla-based flavor (which is a little sweeter) is best at about 4.3 volts, whereas my tobacco flavor is best at about 3.8 volts. Any higher than that with each one and they do taste a bit burn-y.

I've used the ego twist and found a fairly comparable vape. I went back to the spinner because 1. the twist doesn't have a 1300mah version and I need the long battery life and 2. I like the button and the actually twist on the better much better on the vision. Other than that, no real difference between the two. If you like the vision, don't waste money on getting a twist also

I appreciate the honest feedback from you all!

The main reason I asked was I wanted something I could put in my pocket to take to work. My Spinner 1300 is awesome and I love how pure the liquids taste, vapor production, and trying to move away from the 808 pens. It's just too darn BIG to take to work.

His eGo-C is smaller (kinda like a small cigar) and has multiple parts to it. All I know is I like the vape of using clearomizers vs. 808 carto's. Too bad they dont make a polyfill free head that looks like a filter and works like a stardust for all my pen style batteries i have bought :(

I could only hope!!!

I have been researching this myself for a while now and it really comes down to the Vision being more easy on the eyes and it has grip on the spinner. I think it just comes down to personal preference with your boss. I actually decided if I was gonna get one it would indeed be a 1300 Spinner. Until I saw that Joye Evic...that thing looks sweet. Hopefully one day I'll have the money to get it but for now I will be doing the same as you and getting a spinner when I get the chance.
I think you're having burnt juice issues cause that clearomizer just isn't meant to take much more voltage than get standard ego battery output. I would get a Vivi Nova tank or a Slim Nova tank and give them a try since they come with high resistance heads. I have read in a few places you can just use the Nova heads on the clearomizer if it is a CE5 if you just want to get some high resistance heads instead of getting a tank.

I'm actually on 808s still myself and I'm just not having a pleasant vape experience. Mostly to do with tracking down true bottom coiled cartos more than anything. I will be making a syringe tank mod for it here soon though and hopefully the flavor improves.

I am also currently contemplating a spinner vs twist purchase right now. This thread is very helpful. Thanks. I, too, was counseled that Joye products were better built and that I should not consider other manufacturers if given a choice. After reading here, I think that I will go with the Spinner.

I do have a question about the ViVi slim Nova. I have only tried CE4s so far and have shied away from the Vivi Nova because of the size. I was unaware that they had a slim version. Does the slim version perform similarly to the standard vivi nova?

Thanks

Well on other sites it is just called the Mini Vivi Nova. Madvapes call it the Slim Nova. They have different names for a few things :p So it's pretty much just a smaller version of the 3.5ml Vivi Nova tank from what i understand. Hopefully someone who has used them can help more than me.

If you're looking for a varible voltage kit a friend of mine just showed me this kit Lambo V4 (Lavatube V4) Kit w/Carry Case and it looks like a really good deal.
I'm considering getting this kit until I can get the Joye Evic

Thanks Dragonspirit. I was thinking about that Lambo kit as it looks like a lot of bang for the buck. I am a bit deterred by the form factor. It looks a bit too big and slightly seems to resemble a female pleasure device - lol. So, I would probably only use it at home

I agree on the evic. I am looking forward to seeing one of those.
