Still, people need to stop the Provari comparisons. Does Provari use an LCD Display? This has a full wrap around acrylic panel to allow maximum visibility.

People need to stop the provari comparisons because people know it exists and what it is. If they wanted one they would buy it.

I am still having issues with the MVR and connecting to my Evic. I did the run as administrator. I end up running the install program again to get it to work. But I have to do it every time I connect the Evic to the computer and want to see my stats.

I have that problem to but I don't see me using it more then just to update. I haven't tried to use as administrator to see if it fixes it.

I didn't realize I have to choose to run as admin every time. It worked, thanks!

If you have the desktop shortcut, you can right-click it, choose properties, choose the compatibility tab, and check the "run as administrator" check box. That will run it as administrator every time.

Lol...I just dropped mine off the stairs for the sake of science, still works.

After I posted about mine dropping. I had the unfortunate experience of my Evic falling off the desk while it was plugged into the USB charger. The top cap came off, with my tank along with the 510 connector still connected to the tank. I could see the inside with the wires. And it was still charging. The wires were/are still connected and I carefully put the cap back on. And it still works fine.

I've dropped my Evic a couple of times. Actually...I didn't really drop it. It fell/rolled off the table once or twice. Luckily there is no apparent damage. It still works just fine. What is odd is that when I picked it up after it fell. It was in OFF mode. I'm not sure if the Evic has some sort of shock safety feature. It still works perfectly fine after I turned it back on.

If it landed on it's bottom battery cap I can explain. There is a small spring in the cap the battery disconnected for a moment on impact. I have experienced the same thing.

Looks like that may be a problem with them:(

So I picked one of these up, so far have not managed to knock it over. Really like it, but it sure seems to burn through the battery fast especially on the 18350. Heck it even ate battery power overnight with no use. And it seems to like to cut off sooner than my Vamo or Provari. Like the 18650 I had in last night the unit shut off with the battery at like 3.7 volts... Think the Provari and Vamo would cut off around 3.3.

Has anyone experienced heat issues while charging? When I plug mine in to charge and after 20-30 minutes, I go to the home screen on the evic, the overheat warning is flashing. When I go to check the temp, it registers anywhere from 97-107 degrees. Should I be concerned?

set your overheat warning temp higher. your body temp is around 98 so you can set off the warning just by holding it long enough.

Same experience here. 18350 battery dosent last me but like 2 hours of serious vaping, and if I turn it off overnight the battery will still drain.
