Hi Everybody,
I just joined the eVic club! My new toy came tonight and i already need your help
I could upgrade it to version 1.2 with no problems, settings are fairly easy but then i tried different attys on it and it reads everything (Vivi Nova, Chobra,Carto tank and T2) with exeption of my T3's :?:
Ok that is not so bad, but it misfires a lot on the same atty ,it reads the resistance and when i hit the button it starts counting my "puff-seconds". That happens with all of them, fires a couple of times then... nada...then it works again... and so on! It does it on all of them.
Strange huh? I'm at a loss here, is there reports of this behavior?
Should i wiggle the contact up a bit? I dislike the idea of tempering with it on day 1, hopefully there is an easy fix that i didn't see.
Thanks for any suggestions :)

you can try pulling the center post on the T3. maybe its too low due to the well is not deep enough for the ego connection.
I only use 510 connection so I've no idea what it can be.

So I've been vaping for 3 weeks today after 20 years of a pack a day, and I couldn't be happier. First week was spent on a bad 510T auto starter kit. Next two weeks were a 650 Ego Twist and a Mini Vivi. Then today, this good times showed up.

That's a Boge F16 tank with a pre punched carto in it. I know boge have had some issues, if this is a crappy carto I'd really like to know what a good one is like, cause everything about it is so much better....

I also got an 18350 battery with the soft black Ego T tube for work.

Just got back from Equator, took a cab from Co-Co to Quito and I didn’t work too well at 4K meters  maybe your eVic is having the same problems, I wasn’t 100% in Quito either but still eating my soup with popcorn :toast: .

Seriously any chance it’s in auto?

set your overheat warning temp higher. your body temp is around 98 so you can set off the warning just by holding it long enough.

Thanks for the quick response. Any suggestion on what would be considered a safe temp setting. I am only 5 weeks into vaping and would rather not experience any of the battery failures I have heard about.

Just out of curiosty, since I don't have mine yet....does it have a default setting? Or is the question whether or not that default setting is too low and causing it to shut off when it doesn't need to?

edit:
by "default setting" I'm referring to the overheating warning

Thanks Guys,
T3 is a problem but at least today i did'nt have the misfiring problems on the same atty. Worked perfect all day.
So it's oficial: I love my eVic!:)

@Kwcharlie if you come back to Ecuador send me a message, i would gladly show you around!
