Joye Stick V3 - Hi-Res Pics

I finally received my V3 Stick that I ordered from Heaven Gifts on Jan 1st
With the stick I also got adapters and 510/901 stuff.

First impressions:
The unit looks great and holds very nicely in my hand.
The slightly rubbery plastic used on it is a nice touch, and even the cheaper joye version has the janty logo on the button.

If I had to be picky, I'd say there a few places where the build quality could be improved. Edges between pieces are not perfectly razor sharply cut and I can see a bit of glue residue (can be seen in the picture of the stick with the 3 adapters. Look at the clear acrylic led part)

The stock 801 that comes with the stick has the most seamless look.
With the 510 and 901 adapters, there is a bit of spacing in between the adapter and the atomizer. Nothing big, but noticeable.

I still have not broken in all my 3 atomizers, so I won't comment yet on which I prefer. I'll leave this for an upcoming HD video review.

You weren't kidding about the hi-res. I've got relatively fast DSL, but I feel sorry for those with slow internet access or those running low on memory. My system actually had to "think" about this one for a bit upon opening. lol

I received my Joye Stick V3 from Heaven's Gifts yesterday. I have mixed feelings about it thus far for this reason: it will not produce vapor UNLESS you drip; then it you get truly great vapor.

However, as soon as the ejuice dries out, nothing (save for the nasty metallic taste). I used the prefilled carts that came with the V3: nothing. I used my own 801 carts that I topped off myself: nothing. I switched out atomizers: nothing.

Only with dripping am I getting vapor. The only thing I can think of is that the 801 carts are too short for the atomizer to work. However, it seems to work for others.

I am not morally opposed to dripping. Since I have two V2 Joye Sticks, I guess I will keep the V3 and simply use it when I want to drip and get a great throat hit. However, any suggestions on why it refuses to vape without dripping would be appreciated.

It's still a 100% improvement on the look of the old stick with speaker grill (lol).

Pull filter out a little bit and try it again.
If it produces vapor, it's because the cartridge is too short.

I prefer to use it with 510 adapter with 510 atomizer.
It has more throat hit and warmer vapor but less flavor.
It also has less leaking problem.

If you use it with 510 adapter, it gives you more vape time
with longer peak period. You also get built-in pass through.
When you leave the power source for PT, you battery is almost
fully charged and ready to go. In addition, the replacing battery
is a lot cheaper than 510 battery.

Beside these, it is the same as normal 510.

You should have one.
