My 510 carts seem to fit about 15 drops. I've read a cart is 3-5 cigarettes worth of juice. That seems about right. If I have a full one on my 510 in the AM at work it usually last me till mid-day. I'd don't chain vape though. I find myself using it kind of like a cigarette - several (6-10?) puffs until satisfied, come back in an hour.

The instructions that came with my 510 said nothing about blowing out the primer in the atomizer. It tasted horrible. I thought it was the pre-filled cart's juice. Turns out they weren't so bad when I wasn't vaping the primer. :) I will never do that again though, so lesson learned.

One popular simple mod is to replace the cart filler with blue foam. After anumber of refills you'll probably find the 510 cart filler starts to wick less well - same is true of most white fiber cart stuffing. The blue foam seems to work a better for me and it's easier to clean and position.

The blue foam is cut from Marineland Rite-Size U foam sleeves from the aquarium dept of Petsmart. StrictlyEjuice.com, Flavor Shop! sells pieces precut for 510 or 901 carts. I have not yet tried them in a 510 but I've cut them down for another PV's carts.

I use a 510 and get absolutely great vapor from it. But I didn't at first, using the standard polyfil crap that the carts come loaded with.

Since I started using http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/52430-ptb-straw-mod-ptb-made-easy.html, I have awesome plumes of vapor and much better taste from my 510. BTW, I still have not been able to find actual ptb's where I live so I used a regular tea bag - works great for me!

I did have to "re-learn" how to drag using an e-cig though. At first I tried dragging on it just like I did an analog. Didn't work out so great. I learned (through watching vids and reading posts in this forum) to take long (4-6 sec) steady drags - not pulling on it too hard. As you experiment more with your particular pv, you'll figure out what works best for you.
