..and a day later, it's in my hands. It's nice ordering from NY to NJ. I think I've found a new favorite shop

The passthrough is very nice.. it's like new portable batteries on a 100% charge (maybe even better).. only it just keeps going and going and going. Perfect so far.

This was my first passthrough & I'm glad it's a beast.

The wire is about as thick as my mouse's USB cord (which I wouldn't exactly call thick, but it just works). It doesn't strike me as too thin. I highly doubt it will be a problem.

are you plugging yours into a computer or into a usb adapter wall socket?

Right now I'm plugging it into the PC. I'll have to look into a socket adapter, cause this is a fairly new PC. Working fine for now though. Since it produces a good amount of vapor, I don't have to keep it pressed for too long, which will hopefully help reduce risks

whats the difference in the joye510 and the 901 usb passthru? I know you can get a adaptor for either one.

I'm on the verge of purchasing the 15 buck usb pass thru for my 901 style attys

The original Joye510 passthrough has a battery pack attached to it limiting its power output to 3.7v. The DSE901 doesn't have a battery attached so the output power is higher = More vapor/throat hit.

I thought it was 4 from usb and 5 from a wall socket. Can you check it with a wall socket adaptor and see if there is a difference?

That's how I checked it. Voltage will be the same it's the current that's different. I hooked it up to a wall adapter which puts out 2amps.

Haven't tested it with a meter but I definitely get more vapor from a wall to usb socket.

The reason you are getting more vapor from a wall is because the usb socket puts out less amps. I just checked and they both put out 5 volts with my PureSmoke pass-through. Your pass-through puts out 4.25 volts on both.
There are some threads on here that talk about the amps required to drive a 5volt PT. Might be in the PureSmoke subforum but I'm not sure.
