Nice carbon wrap for the Cuboid, gives it more grip..
Sweet! Where did you get the wrap? Jwraps? Vaporskinz?

I use these heatsinks on all my mods to protect the 510. The best feature is they are adjustable. No more worrying about spring tension and bad contacts. Once in a great while I might have to make an adjustment for a particular atty but for the most part it's set it and forget it.

Having just purchased both the RX200 and the Cuboid, I gotta say I like them both equally. For different reasons.

They both are not light in the hand, so it's a tosser which is better in that regard. The Cuboid is more compact and has a much larger screen, which for these old eyes is a god-send. Downside for the Cuboid is the buttons: having the adjustment buttons on the side from the fire button is not as convenient for "blind" adjusting the temp/wattage; WIN for the RX on that count. Screen brightness between the two is about the same, with the Cuboid being perhaps a bit dimmer; both are not nearly as bright as the screen on my TC60's. The Cuboid top deck size and placement of the 510 connector will leave anything bigger than a 23mm tank at or hanging over the edge, while the RX's recessed atty well imposes the same size limitation without possibly having some 510 connection problems on attys with larger bases. Battery life, the RX wins hands-down, which is to be expected with the third 18650 in there. Still, the Cuboid does deliver decent use time if you're using lower-wattage setups. I've gone to using the Cuboid for my attys that run under 40W and the RX for the high power builds.

My intention was to get only the RX, but then I saw the Cuboid, did some checking and decided that it would be a good addition for me. I'm not disappointed. :)

I solved the problem of finding the up/down tab for my partly numb finger tips and old blind eyes by putting a drop of gorilla glue on the ends of the tab. This had made it possible for me to fing the +/- entirely by feel without looking to see where my fingers are. It has made all the difference for me. I love this Cuboid. Especially like the easy TCR adjustment function that is available on the mod. Congrats to Joytech for a fine device.

Couple things

Giving up for now with ss coils for temp control, tried crowns and the cubis, no setting I've tried worked well except straight wattage. Switched back to nickel, works great.

Don't like the cubis, I don't mtl, the. 5 coil is loose enough for me, but I like to chain vape, I've burned three straight, it just can't feed juice fast enough for me.

Only knock on the cuboid is changing temp is easy, changing watts not, goes up only, you miss you have to go around the horn again, lol.

I seem to like it better than my vapor shark DNA 200. The vs you can configure everything, and I'm a nerd with that stuff but the cuboid has enough of the important stuff, it just plain works.

It's heavy, need to get sleeve. Battery life pretty good, fits in my hand better than any other mod I know, little heavy/bulky in my pocket, but not enough to stop me from carrying it.

The temp chip is pretty darn good, it just works, nice consistent vape, what more could you ask for at this price?

I tried his suggestions. I noticed on my vapor shark DNA 200 when I would use the device monitor and do live hits, the ohms jumped wildly, regardless of the graphs iv tried, the temp jumped wildly up and down giving a pulsating hit. It's the same type of hit I'd get on the cuboid. Nickel to me just seemed like a nice smooth consistent vape. Think I'll wait until I find someone has worked out ss better. To tell the truth, I really like the nickel coils, great all the way around, and I know what works for me.

I operated both devices from a fresh charge, with identical power settings and the same rda with the same build, without recharging, until they stopped firing and noted the firing time in seconds that the devices provide. In the first round test the the mini went 1000 seconds and the cuboid went 1200 seconds. I'm not saying my result is definitive. I'm asking others who have both devices to repeat my test and we'll compare results.

I hope my results are wrong because I got the cuboid for endurance, not higher watts.
You should probably consider the new Eleaf 100 watt TC mod. It has dual 18650's in parallel rather than series. That should give you the extended vape "endurance" that you are seeking using your low power usage. Just my thoughts after reading your disappointment with the Cuboid.

No they were from zapwrapz uk....but I bet Jwraps would do them.

Rixsta, is that a Cubis on you're Cuboid ? You're a MTL'er ?

No, I'm mainly a lung hitter, that tank on left is a Mermaid tank by sense as I love my Herakles Plus with the 0.4 ohm kanthal so thought I'd give this one a try, same great flavor but I'm forever filling it up....it's nice though.

The one on the right is a Sapor RDA with a dual 24+30 Clapton coil at 0.3 ohm, running at 70 -80w, def not a MTL.

Just to say, If I had my time again, I would pick the Reuleaux over the Cuboid everytime, I love that mod a lot, feels about the same weight, shorter, great feel in the hand, hits better as it's 3 cell and battery life is great, it's also pretty impossible to knock over too. Amazing mod for the money...

need a solution its been bugging me.

my cuboid seems to change from TC SS316 to power mode at times.

using steam crave aromamizer or any atty, it detects the atty proper and vape great than a few hrs later it auto swap to power mode, fiddle with it trying to reset it. removing atty, press fire button a few times, put it back, if does not work rinse and repeat till it work.

same for my evic vtc mini. anyone got the same issues and a fix for this?

Nice large font with the firmware upgrade, it's as easy to read as the Cuboid. Don't get me wrong, the Cuboid is great but for that bit extra, for me personally, it's a better deal.

On a regulated device a parallel mod won't have better battery life than a series mod.

My cuboids turned up half an hour ago and been using one of my Crius clone tanks on it for fifteen minutes and after setting the TCR to 220 my 430 ss coils are firing nice very similar to the rx200 so quite happy right now.

Until you vape at much higher wattage that is.

True but I have tested them side by side and the Reuleaux just lasts longer, same type batteries, same coil, same wattage.....it just does :)

Can U post a pic?

Uh, the Reuleaux is a three battery mod so of course it'll last longer than a two battery mod.
