I vape all day, 24 mg dekang 3&5. I started on njoy and my usage was way too high for said unit so i had three batts 2 always charging was a nightmare and added to the stress of quitting analogs. also cartomizers are definitely not for me. i put up with this for 2 months, the last two weeks heavily researching my next PV.

When My C arrived I was amazed yet disappointed, it leaked like a sieve, but produced good consistent vapor. After a few days of that i switched to the silicone cart caps i bought in order to get free shipping. 95% of leakage solved whoever thought those hard ones would work was silly. need to make sure the cap is thoroughly punctured and material free of hole to get good flow with caps keep this in mind. Frigging Durable, seriously I beat the crap out of mine. The wear does show but functionality is perfect after over 100 drops each, many of those on pavement and concrete. I leave it in my pocket and when i squat (ik tmi) they have bent at the battery/switch connection point. I bend it back and push it in and it's fine. Also one of my atomizer bases wasn't spinning down all the way turns out i had to compress the unit back together at that connection as well. Battery life is great. even with heavy use it's not dead when you'd think it would be. the hard plastic switch is almost bearable since it also tells you battery level. Atomizers: I haven't killed one yet and have only been using 2 of 5. after 2-3 weeks they start tasting a bit burnt, i drip a drop on it and blow it through.. back to yum. All in all I'm very happy with my Ego C and will buy another just so it's looking good again.

I have to say that I have heard A LOT about the Ego tanks leaking and the attys going to crap, however, I have cycled out my attys and cleaned them out and have used the same few tanks for the last month and have yet to have had any problems with them and still have a bunch of unopened items that came in my starter kit. I don't know what all the fuss is with the tanks, personally, have not had a bit of leakage. I am glad that you are enjoying your Ego-C and have to say that mine are still going great as well and and still use them around my 3.7v and VV. Did you pre-punch your silicone caps by chance?

I've had mixed feelings about the ego-c since owning it a few months now. The biggest problem was inconstant hits. Half good half burnt. I've tried so many different juices, 100%pg 50/50 100%vg nothing seems to fix the dry hits. The only time I use the c atomizers is when I'm working and I can't vape it that often so I don't get dry hits. Eh..

In my opinion, the way to get the best out of an ego-c is to be sure that it's genuine Joyetech. There are lots of unbranded and rebranded knockoff kits and parts out there, including atomizer heads.

When I finally broke down and got the real deal, the difference was like night and day when it came to consistency, leakage, dry hits, etc.

Design tolerances and quality standards are there for a reason and they do make a difference. You may pay a few bucks more but the end results and lack of hassle make it worth it.

I always make sure I buy my devices from reputable dealers with genuine joyetech products available.
With that being said, I've still had inconsistency with the ego-c. Like I said it seems like it just can't stand up to a chain vapor.

Again opinion only

I have to say that, again, I have not had any complaints at all with the Ego-C as it has been a great device for me as well as my fiancé. No problems what so ever..and I would go through 3 or 4 ML of liquid on it each day. I guess that is what I would consider "chain vaping," but I have seen many others with complaints of leaking and/or short atty lives..I guess it depends on either the product or the person involved.

Not sure what qualifies as a chain vaper, but I'm probably not one. Unless I get a hold of some juice I really like a lot.

I have been slowly moving towards the DCT's lately for my main goto vape. The reliability and lack of fuss is awesome. But for the flavor switching I like to also do, the C is much better suited.

LOL When I go to work I usually have my main vape in a DCT and 2 C's each setup with a different flavor. I find that switching between the 2 flavors acts as a palate cleanser, allowing me to enjoy the full flavor of each even more. Then occasionally hit the goto (tobacco / high nic) to keep any analog cravings in check.

My journey so far has been (improving somewhat each step), Ego-T > Ego-C upgrade with junk parts > Real Ego-C > DCT. I'll probably be looking into a quality VV mod next.

Fantastic!!

The eGo-C is my favorite regular use vape of all so far too- and I've tried lots of different gadgets! Vapor production is awesome, and the taste comes through much better than on any cartomizer I've tried. I too have not experienced any leaking issues.

I've found the silicon mouth tips come in handy for some juices as well.

Only one suggestion I might make, give the KGO (Welcome to hoosier ecig supply - The Best E-cigs, Juices, and accesories sells them) battery a try. They last longer and produce a slightly nicer vape (higher voltage). They do require a different charger, but that charger will work on your Joyetech batteries too. Oh, and the 1000mA eGo passthru is also a very nice battery!

Congratulations! I'm just shy of two months, but it's really great to hear that yours are doing well at four!

I have to agree. For me anyway, when it comes to the flavored juices, the Ego-C's & T's are unmatched (so far) for rich thick full flavor tasting vapes. I'm thinking it has to do with the lack of carto filler, wicking issues, etc.

For my main tobacco / nic fix I don't mind giving up a little of that for the convenience and reliability of the carto/tank. But for the multitude of delicious concoctions available out there I'll stick to the straight drip tank style for now.

I am thinking about giving the new Stardust / Vision clearomizers a try. Looking for the best of both worlds if possible. It seems from reviews that they're pretty hassle free as well and vape very nicely, though the tank's not very big.

The first clearomizer I ever tried was an absolute generic piece of crap. But it seems they're making advancements and addressing issues of past failures rather quickly.

With those silicone caps, i punch them with the unit but dry, good old in out and twist around, then make sure the hole is clear, sometimes pulling out the chunk with my teeth. it wont be a perfect circle but leaving the cut material in there leads to dry hits..
On another note, when performance suffers i find i need to disassemble and blow out atomizer base, wipe out the cone, clean batt terminal of the drop that accumulates there. one time it got so wet in there it shut itself off.
If you are getting dry hits after cleaning i suggest pulling out and reinserting the tank a few times, while twisting it, and pulling on it for a few seconds without hitting the button.
i still dream of smoking, but it's staying there, in my dreams. in reality i'm never going back to analogs.
