Hi,
No, I've been using only the parts provided by joyetech.
And no, I've been filling it from the bottom as explained in the manual.. read my post correctly, I clearly state that filling the tank isn't the problem. That part I do correct, and I also state that the leakage starts after a while.. not straight from the get go.
I've contacted the manufacturer about this, also sent them some pictures about the problem. They state that if the liquid in the tank is below 10%, there CAN be leakage... so it seems it's apparently by design.
Yea, am curious what others like you will experience with this e-cig.
Meanwhile I will wait for a second reply from Joyetech, after they studied my pictures.
Cheers!
PS: this is what they say so far:
Thanks for your E-mail and sorry for the inconvenience.
Could you please provide some pictures about your eGo-CC and the place of leakage?
In addition, kindly please pay more attention to the following:
1. When the liquid level goes below 10%, the remaining liquid may leak out. The reason is the tank cartridge use surface tension in its design.
2. Please avoid frequent removal of the tank cartridge. Only remove it when the liquid is depleted or otherwise deemed necessary.
The reason for this is that the size of the hole in the tank cartridge can increase with normal wear and tear.
This causes leaking and requires a new cartridge at that time.
3. Every user has different smoking habit. With your each time inhaling, the liquid may be not fully atomized which result in leakage.
We kindly suggest you'd better push the button 3 to 4 seconds to ensure the liquid is fully atomized while inhaling.
