If you order from JOYE eRoll Starter Kit - $60.00 : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes, the coupon code 20rocky is still good for 20% off. That brings it down to $48 with free shipping included. That code works for all of their stuff.

They also carry the replacement parts. JOYE eRoll Parts : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes :) :vapor:

Enjoy!

Yeah that's the link Alisa gave me, and you're right, terrific savings! I'm hoping the "Virginia" e-juice from Rocky Mtn will suit me, but I'm also ordering some of the actual joyetech "Virginia" from litecigusa.net. Hope at least one of those will serve as a reasonable substitute for Va Slims. Just don't want anything sweet, as so many of the tobacco flavors seem to be.

But as for charging the PCC, the only time I go two hrs without a "smoke" is when I'm sleeping, so at night is when it will have to be. I just wanted to make sure that it did have the auto-shutoff.

Just so I know right up front -- what replacement part(s) will I most likely need first? The atomizer? I can see already that this will probably cost me a good deal less than a pack a day of premium cigarettes (once I've got the starter kit), but it will take a bit, I think, to really get a feel for what all supplies I need, and how often.

Thx!

You will have success with the eRoll I'm sure. Just accept that vaping is a little different from smoking, but just as good (better actually) and you won't have any trouble. When I started I had to keep reminding myself of all the advantages of vaping and the negatives of smoking. I even wrote them down. Wasn't long before I only wanted to vape, and this was with some awful devices and liquid at that time, over 4 years ago. Amazing how far vaping has come.

Yeah I was really surprised by all that I've found online; the mainstream media has done a great job of kissing gov't ... and reporting very little about it. I've got an "Njoy" (light, in the gold pkg) and it's pretty close, but still not *quite* right, so I went online to see what I could see, and wow! So much to find! Really glad I found this forum; it's an amazing resource of info, tips, support, and just plain good folks. I've smoked for almost 39 yrs now, and been an asthmatic for almost 30, and tried several times to quit -- once for 3 months, and suffered every waking minute. The patch did nothing for me but give me palpitations, and ........ when I just *had* to have a smoke even with a patch on -- at this point, I'd pretty much given up on ever quitting, till it killed me as it killed my dad -- but now, with these e-cigs, I think it really might work. I'm excited, and motivated, for all those excellent reasons mentioned above. Yeah, I might have some moments of discomfort, but with these e-cigs, I'm just about certain they won't be nearly as bad as "cold turkey," or that utterly useless patch.

You don't need to go without a smoke during the PCC charging. I have charged the eRoll battteries while the PCC was charging. And the eRoll batteries last about 1 hour and the tank lasts about the same time. Keep a spare with you and that will be your 2 hours. Even with the auto shut off, things are good until they aren't. ;)

As for the replacement parts, the atomizers are the number one thing. I use a dark, sweetened e-liquid and it gunks them up pretty fast. Others have used theirs for months. You can clean them, but they are never the same. I would also get extra tanks for your long days out when refilling with a needle tipped bottle isn't handy. I have loads of every part of the kit, in every color, and those are the most used items.

Enjoy! :) :vapor:

Ok, that makes a lot of sense about the tanks; although I'm usually stuck at home 24/7, there are occasional exceptions, and I wouldn't want my e-cig to run out after I finally get free of these coffin nails, that would truly suck!

About how long, on average, do the atomizers last? Right now I smoke about a pack a day, but seldom smoke a whole cigarette at one time (I smoke the 120s so I can put 'em out and relight 'em, helps me save some money; usually I have about half a cigarette at a time). I would guess that means that I would need to recharge my eRoll about every-other smoke? I'm just trying to figure out what other bits I should go ahead and get, along with the eRoll starter kit.

It's so weird; I'm a real expert when it comes to SMOKE, but a total wet-behind-the-ears NOOB! when it comes to vapor! :) This time last week all I knew was that the Njoy didn't taste quite right but came close (good "throat-hit", funky taste), and the Blu tasted sweet and awful, like a pipe. (UCK!)

Thx much!

About how long, on average, do the atomizers last? Mine only lasts a couple of days, due to the type of liquid I use. I've read several posts about people using them a month or more.

I would guess that means that I would need to recharge my eRoll about every-other smoke? The eRoll is made to be charged each time you are done with a 'session'. You can carry the little battery inside the charger until the next time you are ready for it. It mimics the action of opening the pack for a cig. (I think that's what the makers intended) I experimented when I first got it, so I know, for me, the eRoll battery itself lasts around an hour before blinking and the tank running dry.

It's so weird; I'm a real expert when it comes to SMOKE, but a total wet-behind-the-ears NOOB! when it comes to vapor! We all started in the same place. :)

Thx much! You are quite welcome! :) :vapor:

I tend to charge mine as soon as I'm done using it whether the battery is depleted or not. The atomizers depend on the juice you use. One liquid I use can go all week and another needs to have the atty rinsed nearly every day.
I agree though that extra tanks and atomizers are needed. And if your kit doesn't come with an extra "atomizer cone" you'll need one too. That way one battery can charge while you vape the other one.

I never understood the absence of the second atomizer cone in the eRoll starter kit. But fortunately, I read about it here on ECF and ordered it at the same time ...

I'm using the eRoll exclusively for stealth vaping, with a 100% PG menthol juice for minimal vapor. The atomizers have lasted for several months now, with a weekly soaking in 91% isopropyl alcohol and a little agitation. I did break one atomizer taking it apart, but haven't worn one out yet ...

I'll put in a plug for the Ovale Elips here, its still my favorite at home and in the car, where I don't have to worry about stealth ...

Uses the same atomizer, but a much warmer vape, and lasts longer between charges ...

Ok, this is all very welcome info. I'm planning to order my eRoll thru Rocky Mtn Vapor, to take advantage of that great 20% off, and it says this about what comes in the kit:

The Kit includes:
2 x eRoll Auto Batteries 90mah
2 x eRoll atomizer cone cover
2 x atomizer heads(same as ego-c,ecab)
3 x cartridges (empty)
1 x eRoll PCC(Portable charging case) 1000mah updated
1 x usb cable
1 x wall adapter

So it looks like I don't really *need* anything else right away, other than the juice, although maybe I ought to go ahead and get a couple of extra atomizers, since I don't know yet what juice I'll be using or how it will affect the atomizer.

Once I determine what kind of juice I like, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to really stock up, 20-25 or more bottles, in case all these ninnies do something really stupid and make e-cig supplies difficult, impossible, or expensive to get. Although that would probably apply to ALL the consumable supplies (batteries, cone covers, and atomizers). And I think I like the idea of having multiple cartridges (tanks?) with different flavors.

I just know that for many, many years, I've spent a huge amount of money on cigarettes, making sure I ALWAYS have more than enough to get me through -- kinda like Linus, with his blankie. :) Used to, if I got down to less than 2 pks, I'd have nic fits -- I wouldn't even leave the house unless I had 2 pks in my purse! Talk about a ball and chain! I'm really looking forward to this; if I can't get free of nicotine, at least I can get free of poisonous smoke, the ash-tray smell, and almost certain horrible death from cancer or COPD. 3 cheers!

:D
Thx y'all!

Ok, I watched that first video, Busardo, and it answered a great many of my questions, like filling it, how the parts fit together, etc -- I was a bit confused as to what the difference was between the "cone" and the "atomizer" but I think I get it now. It sounds like that for me, a pk-or-less per day ultra-lights smoker, trying to find an e-cig that will be similar enough to actual smoking to get me past the ditching-cigarettes phase, this thing is exactly right.

Now I just need to find some juice I can live with -- and that was a good tip above, from rico942, about using 100% PG for stealthier vaping, less vapor -- I won't need that option too often, but nice to know how to do it, if I need to.

Is it true, what I read someplace, that PG is less sweet than VG? Because I'm really looking for something that won't be sweet at all, but more like a bitter-tasting cigarette (VA slims), and it seems that most tobacco flavored juice I'm seeing is somehow sweet; I'm really thinking I should go for something like a Cuban flavor -- a really smooth cigar flavor. People have often told me that my VA Slims smell like cigars. Any suggestions on a really smooth, light-ish cigar flavor, that isn't sweet at all?

Thx! Now off to view the other videos! :D

Agreed. I kill a battery in fifteen minutes. Also, if the atty is in top shape, the tank will be dry at the same time. After that, the battery goes back in and is generally ready in 20 minutes. I keep a needle-tip bottle with me in the same shirt pocket as the PCC, then I quickly fill the tank before using again.

At home, when chain vaping, I just keep swapping the two batteries while the PCC stays connected to the wall charger (not a computer usb). In the morning, it's ready to go again.

Uncapped in a SAFE place but re-cap and give them a shake once a day.
I say a safe place because they're uncapped and I almost lost three 30ml bottles when the cat got adventurous and knocked over some books on the same high shelf as my steeping juice. Luckily only the caps fell on the carpet. Another inch and I wouldn't have been so lucky.

I have a couple questions, after having this thing for a few days now.

1) I've never actually seen the unplugged PCC's "need to charge" (red) light come on. It does come on when I plug it in. Night before last, I decided not to plug it in, to see if I ever did see that light come on, but it never did; I plugged it in last night just so it wouldn't go completely dead and take so long to charge back up, and naturally the light was green when I got up this morning. How long does it take, before that "need to charge" light will come on? I just want to make sure the thing is working as it should.

2) I'm about to receive 2 new e-juices, and I'm wondering, before I taste them, do I need to change the atomizer too, or would just changing the cartridge suffice, to get a real taste of the new juice? The one I've been trying for a few days is fairly sweet, but I don't think the 2 I'm about to get are very sweet, if at all.

Thx much!!
Andria
