25/1000 of an inch is pretty thin. Not sure it would really be worth the extra cost though.

It is but I would like it to be thin enough to be flush with the lip that is around the case. Like I said if the cheap stuff doesn't look good I will spend the extra cash for the good stuff. 2nd day, and so many fingerprints already.

I have some nice thin red vinyl, its not as easy to cut to size for these little batts as youd think. Then try to find the hole after you cover it lol

I think Eric is planning on putting the carbon fiber on the PCC case which I think would be very nice.

I note that the real stuff has several different options regarding finish:

"Our .025" carbon fiber sheets are a tough, and rigid carbon reinforced epoxy matrix composed of two layers of 3k plain weave fabric without any core material. Each laminate is available in our standard gloss, scratch resistant matte, or textured finish on one side, with a textured finish on the other side, creating an ideal bonding surface. "

Eventually I may get some real stuff - but only after one of my pcc's goes dead, and then only if I can figure out how to swap the case between pccs so that I only need one with carbon fiber and can switch back and forth.

It is a good idea. Kind of make it look like a Billet Box.

I was going to cut and extra piece in the shape of a triangle, so I can feel where the opening is. My mitre saw works great at cutting straight lines:laugh: Tinsnips also work great for cutting

The vapor jackets are a shrink wrap, not a sticker so that wont work. But you can get sweet stickers at any arts and crafts store. Thats where i got the skull

It looks like the length of the tip doubles the size of the bottle. To much bigger than it needs to be ... for carrying around. For me anyway.
I'm using a 6ml bottle with a tip I found in a blood glucose meter kit. It's perfect and the original cap fits it. I've pretty much sidelined all my 3ml needle bottles for now.
Johnson Creek Needle Tip Dropper Bottles Johnson Creek Smoke Juice

Ran across this bottle, thought it might work for the eRoll. Anybody have one of these?

Junkman to replacing just the battery, looks like an option. The hardest thing looks like not damaging the charging pins. The battery might have some adhesive holding it as well.

I have something simular those. If you buy 15ml Johnson Creek Smoke you get: glass bottles, with glass eye dropper top, and the needle tip bottle with each bottle. Pretty nice setup on the go.

I do like my 3ml blunt tip needles better.

THAT'S the right kind. The one shown above that post with the white cap has been reported to have problems with the Casio coming off in your pocket.

Wow. Too easy to get behind on this thread when "real life" happens! Unfortunately, it's still happening, so not sure how often I can pop in here. - Basically, .... hit the fan, I went back to mostly smoking the real stinkies simply because I never have any technical problems with a lighter and basic breathing. However, I realized there's no more $ in the budget, and I'm on my last pack, so back to the eRoll it is.

Going to throw out the apricot juice (for those following the never solved mystery of why it wouldn't mix.) Mixing (chocolate) in the tank makes it leak. Tested it out on a new tank, still leaks. Haven't re-tested that tank to see if it damaged the tank or... what.

Green felt stickies were much cheaper and a bit smaller at the hardware store (small town, not much selection) so I got those and put one where the arrow is on my PCC. Makes finding how to open it in the dark/while driving a million times easier. Highly recommended, whatever type of sticker/bump/whatnot you use!

Got some 95 VG, 5 PG juice and some 100 VG juice. Both were much too thick for my eRoll. If I let the 95/5 sit a while, it would hit OK for one or two drags. Then real tight, and that burned atty taste - since I'm still smoking cigs a lot right now, I noticed something. You know how us newbies are always asking about what juice tastes like a real cigarette? I think the answer is "burned atty" flavor. Seriously. I even too a drag off the cig, then off the eRoll when it wasn't getting juice - the taste isn't that far off!

Got VapeDudes juice this time. Asked them to put in 3x flavor in all. I can barely taste it. So yeah, my taste buds are weird. Food tastes "normal" - I dunno. But I can detect a little bit of flavor in these. Added just a few drops of DW to the 100% VG and it seems to be doing well. Not as much vapor as the other stuff I was using (70VG, 30 Distilled Water + whatever PG was in flavoring from Mt Baker) but it has a taste, so that's good.

Couldn't find any B&M store that would sell me a syringe yesterday. Luckily the animal rescue had one :D I think I'll just a bunch through them/maybe a feed store/pet store. Much smaller than the one I bought... somewhere. Maybe Mt Baker? Desert Vapes? Don't remember.

Well sorry to hear if the problems and the need for the tobacco. Good to hear that you are determined to work around the problems you have had with the eroll.

I use 80pg 20vg and am having no problems with leaks or lack of flavor, fwiw.

I tried a little higher vg content but felt like it was too thick.

I think you are right about the burning atomizer flavor, lol

If you still smoke, or are in the process of quitting, even for a few months after having your last cig, your taste buds are garbage. Youll get a lot more flavor once you are good and clean and your sense of smell and taste return ;)

If you want to use 100% VG in your Eroll, just add a little distilled water to the eliquid to thin it out, it works just fine that way
